Hi guys

Came home from working away the other week there to find the other half had removed all the wall paper from the hall, this caused a bit of a barny as we have no money to do anything with the hall at the momet, typical woman lol.

i was thinking about painting the walls (have plenty of paint) but dont want to give us uneeded problems when we do eventualy have the money to get the walls skimmed, would painting the walls in the mean time cause any problems when we do eventualy come to get them skimmed??

Cheers

Kev

skim will have trouble sticking over vinyl silk or soft sheen. Use a nice matt paint. Then when you come to get the walls skimmed should they need doing a light key and a coat of pva is all the plasterer should need.
