    Hi,
I have a similar concern. I am with HSBC and have probably spent a couple of thousand in charges over the past few years. I am not worried about them closing my account too much but I have two accounts, two mortgages, an equity release loan, a personal loan, life insurance and home insurance all with HSBC. I am concerned that if I try to claim for my charges they could make life very difficult for me given all of the products I have with them. Any thoughts?

Although I appreciate your concerns, remember the saying, ' don't put all your eggs, in one basket '.

Perhaps you could at least move your bank account?

So does anyone know? If they did close my account, would they do it straight away or wait until they gave me a pay-out?? It makes the world of difference because by the time the test case is finished I will have paid my OD, and they can close the account all they like! But if they do it now, I'm pretty screwed!
