Evening all!
Had a great day at work NOT! Someone reckoned the bin men had refused to empty her bin and wheeled it from the alley at the side of her house to block her front door so she couldn't get out.
Can't remember who was after an engagement card image but have you seen these. How cute are they?
Fantastic news Flourgirl and Sally
Rusty - could you try running some of the paper flowers through an embossing folder?Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Sorry I shouldn't laugh but I am the kind of person who used to do things like that when I worked on the bins ... Mainly after I had emptied the bin though just to annoy those who used to annoy me :rotfl:
Never thought about embossing them myself ... maybe I should have a try as I have enough flowers to fill a meadow!! thankyou for the idea!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Padster- thanks for the link for Bugaboo digi stamps - they are brilliant0

chocolate.orange wrote: »Rusty Just wondered if your Craftwork cards order came ? Only reason was mine came today and it had been held up as something had gone out of stock.. They sent me a nice freebie for the wait
I'm also a gold card member so girlies at the NEC write your lists
Its 10 % off
My order arrived today too - I rang them yesterday to see what was going on because it had been over a week and it didn't look like anything had been done with it at all. I got 10 acetate frames as a freebie to say sorry. I think they're in a bit of a pickle at the mo because they're moving premises . There's a sale at their warehouse in Stourton on the 6th of Feb.
Which is obviously when I'm away. Harumph!0 -

Loved all the baby chit-chat, although I'm well past that stage well I'd better be
Sorry, if I've missed anyone out - am loving all the crafty creations on your blogs by the way. Am off now to try to find a sketch challenge to enter. Haven't made a card since Monday and am getting withdrawal symptoms.
Ooooh, before I go - was placing an "MSE essentials only" order on Glitter Pot - white card, eze-mount, dst - you know the sort of thing and what should fall into my basket but some Basic Grey Sugar Rush paper - don't know how it got there
Take care all, Thriftyxxx0 -

although do you get a dispatch email from them?? reason I ask is that a courier has tried to deliver something today whilst I was out, but I thought it might have been my robo?? but OH said he hasn't had a dispatch email about that? ....
What was your freebie?? ... how does the gold card thingy work? is it physically a card to put in your purse?? cause it said I qualified for that?
Oooh something else ... we went in poundland today and got 3 x BIG bags of paper flowers, they are almost like they have been punched so they are cardstock and you get loads in a pack, again bunbun and I shared them :rotfl: and we got 1 x deep purple and light purple, 1 x white and cream, 1 x pink and reddy pink. Not bad for a £
I didnt get a dispatch email from them. Although my parcel came by Royal Mail.. So may of been your robo :j
Freebie was a pack of handbag greetings ( rather cute actually )
Yes its a proper gold cardYou can show it at exhibitions to get a free gift. 10 % off online orders or 10 % off other purchases, show it at the stall. Along with a free weekend pass to Great Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza ( whenever that is) Plus i have lots of strokeable stash

RustyFlange wrote: »Popkins - Love the picture!! that is impressive!! How much did it cost you to have it done? Did you just order it through her email address or something?
Also whilst I am here if anyone is looking for reasonably priced storage for stuff then HObbycraft have 20% off their reasonably priced boxes, I picked up 4 whilst there with bunbun today! .... their 12x12 boxes (7 litre) work out at £5.19 each!!)
Hiya Rusty - thanks I've been trying to come up with a valentin card design using the picutre!! It was £13 and you get emailed 3 versions - one in colour, one in b&w and one in sepia - and yes you just order it by emailing SJ attaching the photo you want copying - she's really quick - I got mine back within a day I think!!
Oooooh PINK storageis very exciting but I CANNOT allow myself anywhere near Hobbycraft - its the devil's den!!!! and I am weak when I go in there!!!
:rotfl:
