Just a quick question, has anyone used American Crafts cardstock? Sarah's Cards sell it for 35p per 12x12 sheet and has 20% off at the moment. Wondered if it was worth having a stock up?

Cgcockcroft - beautiful cards - I love the lilac tones. Your butterfly cards are lovely too - really effective.

Rainmac - I'm sure I've ordered American crafts cardstock before - I can't for the life of me remember where from - but its fine - and at that price I'd stock up - I was thinking of ordering from sarah's cards the with the 20% off.

I came across these sites the other day - basically it shows what bazzill cardstock matches different papers - after looking at the sites I went a bit mad and ordered loads of matching cardstock for my october afternoon papers:

Also I think I found this site from UKscrappers - its a list of loads (and I mean loads) of challenges to enter:

    Hello Everyone

I'm not posting any pics this time, just needed a rant really! lol.

Firstly, let me say everyone has been making some really beautiful cards and things, well done! I hope everyone who has been feeling ill or who has poorly relatives are starting to feel better too.

Well after OH sending a message on Facebook to his children who he hasn't been in contact with for 10 years, during the week my children got another friend request from someone with the same surname! (For those of you who don't know the story, it's here)

I'd had enough by this time, so I got someone to log on under a false name and add him on their facebook. He's not updated his profile or posted any messages since he joined facebook in 2008. All it says is where he's working (which is Middle East) and the company name and his job title. He hasn't posted anything else since then despite the fact some people have left messages for him. I don't recognise any of the friends on his list.

The other night, my daughter came downstairs again and told me that she'd had another friend request, this time from someone with the same surname as him and this "person" said that she found my daughter's name on facebook and thought that they may be related through her uncle **** - which is my husband's first name.
My daughter showed me this and again I asked my son to check his account - he also had the same friend request.
By now, I was tired of this and so I sent a message to her (under a false name of course) and said that she had been messaging my children and that a - they didn't add anyone they didn't know and b - what made her think they could be related.
She replied and said it was the surname that made her think this and that if she had made a mistake, she was sorry. I asked her then to tell me who her parents were as she was calling my husband her uncle. She hasn't replied since I asked her that.
I have an appointment with my lawyer on 2nd February, so I'll ask her then what can be done and also what, if anything, I can do about the tracing agency who I paid to do a trace and who signed an affidavit saying there was not trace of my husband! I wonder now if that is still legal?

Anyway, thanks for letting me rant, I'd better go try get motivated as I have a pink nappy cake to do for this Thursday and 4 orders for bridesmaid towel cakes and one birthday cake!
