  • Sorry dragonlew, we posted at the same time - I did it just that way - the trick will be if I can remember it tomorrow morning - it's been a long day:rolleyes:
  • Am now going to bed after only managing one card tonight :o.

Surprise surprise I don't like that new basic grey - thought I'd just have a looky but nope does nowt for me :p. Gives me more pennies for MME :rotfl:.

    Night All!
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • Hmm the link to the new Basic Grey didn't work for me but that's probably for the best lol! I've just uploaded another card to my blog http://leialegweak.blogspot.com/ and have a few more to add once i'm able to get some decent enough light to take good photos. Also anyone who's ordered from Craftwork Cards before - how long does your order normally take? I still haven't received an order I placed the Saturday before last... x

I heard that the docrafts website was going to be a members only site soon (if it isn't already...?) and they will be charging. Booo!!!

I emailed docrafts to ask them about this charge as I was worried and they said the following...

The docrafts website will still remain the same (free) but the club is an exclusive extra, a club for those that would like to get more out of docrafts.

At only £2.50 a month members of the Creativity! club will get access to free downloads, exclusive projects, great free gifts, special offers online, exclusive and exciting downloads, access to Creativity TV, will also include in the near future instant messaging and lots more!

Creativity! Club is simply an add on for those who are interested.

Louby, if it can help I have some pretty silver elastic cord that you could use to fasten your card perhaps with a button? Just pm me your address and I'll pop it in the post.

I'm planning on making my own wedding invites and require A0 size card to get the most out of the sheet.

My questions for you all are:

    What weight card is best?

& Where is best to get it?? (I'm after burgundy in colour - just to be difficult)

    Thanks

A0 is a pretty large size of card and would be fairly difficult to ship to you. Have you considered either A3 or A4, so much cheaper to buy. Have a look on the Papermill website and check them out as now and again you can get free post. A £25 box will give you a huge amount of paper, check out ebay for envelopes for particular sizes.
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

I was only thinking of using A0 as it cuts down on the overall wastage after cutting. As my cards are 7" x 17" as I'm making pocketfold invites.

What weight card it best? or doesn't it matter?

    Thanks again
