  • Morning all. :D

No rain here in Coventry, but no doubt it'll start when I'm walking the dogs.

Rusty - have you used any of those wooden bits then? I made a xmas tree decoration for my niece using the ragdoll, 1st xmas and a heart. I used sparkly gel sakuras over the promarkers, and covered the buttons with Anita's 3D gloss. I was really impressed with the results, but got so excited I gave it to my sister as soon as I'd finished it, and without taking a picture!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

    Hi everyone
I'm over my knee surgery now and have a little time on my hands. I'm not very mobile at the moment but have managed to gather all my bits and pieces around me.
I've read all of your blogs for inspiration. They are wonderful!!!!
    My question is-
Lots of you have lovely cartoon santas/teddies/snowmen etc on your cards. I'm guessing they are from stampers but was wondering if I could get the same effect from tracing as I can't get out to buy stampers and have left it a little late. But where would I get my images from. Is there anywhere I can get free downloads??

Glad to hear you have had your knee op and it went well. Here's a freebie bear that's just gorgeous... http://pollycraftdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/11/friday-freebie-and-preview-time.html.

Yep, I remember now  ;) I can tell I am going to become easel card obsessed. Made 3 small sized ones for children last night and finished them off this morning... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/

3d glass is Anita's version of glossy accents I think? I've got some but have never used it, JHB how long does it take to dry?

    Morning All

    Princesswoo,

I'm the opposite, I'm from Scotland but have lived with my Yorkie OH in Yorkshire for the past 5 years and I feel the same about living down here, it's totally different and I miss so much about home, still haven't settled here properly.

    Shall we swap - lol

I just got home at 4am this morning after having driven down to London O2 arena last night for the Beyonce concert (we won front row seats) and the concert was totally and utterly fantastic, but I'm suffering this morning now, (too old for concerts now methinks.) We had the tickets for several weeks and as my brother's funeral was planned for 10am this morning, there was no way I could drive back from London and then all the way up to Scotland in time for his funeral. The children had been looking forward to the concert so much as well and I thought it was only fair that I tried to focus on them and their happiness.

    OOps sorry for long post.

    Sal

Morning everyone, the sun's out temporarily in Essex but blooming windy!

I have a question about card candy. Are they sort of like little domes/caps or solid and how do you fix them to your card?

    Ta!
