Mel, what can I say, huge congratulations Mrs Guest Designer!!! You are perfect for the job as your cards are always so gorgeous. How exciting :j :j :j
Gemm, I am so sorry to hear about your m&d cat, such sad news xxx
flourgirl & thewife, I can't believe how talented Kaitlyn is for her age. I too have one of her creations and am going to keep it very safe and in pristine condition cos I'm sure it may be worth some money when she is a famous designer or something some day soon
I have posted the tri-fold card swap partners over on Crafty Place tonight... http://craftyplace.yuku.com/topic/234?page=4. Cgcockcroft, you have me:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thank You all for the kind comments on Kaitlyns cards. She is thrilled that both flourgirl and jennie have now both got there's. In case you hadn't guessed as far as kaitlyn is concerned jennie walks around all day in her big red hat dripping with bling and i'm not going to tell her any different. And at bedtime she takes her hat off and wears her princess tiara.
She does have help but chooses all the papers and colours herself and all the embellishments. She stamps the images herself if they are from stamps i have she can stamp better than me. She even colours in using my promarkers so that i can do the bits by the edge cos she hates to go over the lines . She has a good eye for colours and will happily stamp and stick for hours .
ali she will be 4 in sept and has been crafting since she could hold a pencil and a glue stick. She has put the cards on her blog now link here
Mrs Tidge Glad you had a great time on your holidays .

Evening all!
Have just done the ATC swap on CP for this month.
It's a bit like chaos here at padster towers at the mo - we had a great weekend even though it started raining on the way up and didn't stop until Saturday lunchtime.
Realised where I had seen my kitchen tiles before - they use the same ones in Malmaison bathrooms - that's my claim to fame anyway - lol - spent most of anniversary gophering for OH laying tiles but took DD to Eden camp on the Wednesday which had me in tears as it was so sad. Have decided never again to have a staycation spent loads of cash and am exhausted and I didn't manage to keep up with the housework either - DD is at her dad's again this week but have hamper to make for my second mum's birthday plus need to sort her some craft bits out.
Will try and make some time to craft later in the week but OH will be trying to lay the utility room and downstairs toilet tiles so will probably be roped in to help again even if only to make sure he cuts the right bits off :rotfl:. Thank god for electric tile cutters!!!!
Well done rainmac on your craft fair
congratulations melissa
fab invites and gorgeous dress hels
big thank you to saveapenny and don't know where you get the time to do everything
really sorry about your parents cat gemma - I remember how upset I was when my mum's dog was put to sleep.
sorry if I've forgotten anything major and fantastic cards everyone
just to end my mammoth post - OH was a long while feeding the birds on Thursday - he was moving the babies into the aviary and left the door open - something spooked them and they all shot out except Colin who was left sitting there on his own as he can't fly - 40 mins later 21 budgies and 2 cockatiels were recaptured - I was very careful when I went in there this afternoon :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

She's only 4??? I thought she was 7 and I thought they were fabulous for a child of 7. 4, that is incredible:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Craftygranny - Kaitlyn's hat card is amazing - it must have taken her ages to make!
Mrs.Tidge - welcome back - whereabouts did you go?
Gemm - I'm so sorry about your cat - at least she's not suffering anymore!
Ali - the dinosaur paper is by a company called basic grey and its from their archaic collection. You can buy a 12x12 sheet of it, or you can buy it in a 6x6 paper pad or in a 12x12 collection pack, where there's loads of matching papers that are great for boys!0 -
Oh goodness
I think I will give up now - I was hoping Kaitlyn would at least be in double figures!!! lol, and she has her own blog!!! Can she pass on any tips:rolleyes:
