Hi All, Sorry not been on here in MONTHS! I haven't been doing card making so didn't feel I could join in! :o I have fits and starts with my card making and for a while its taken a back bench. I have recently been feeling 'slightly Christmassy' which is why you may have seen me on other threads.

My ears were burning however when you mentioned whether cardmaking was cheaper than buying one. I went to my mother-in-law's 70th birthday party a couple of weeks ago and get this, one of the blokes (from her other son's rugby club!) made this from the box that his washing machine came in!:rotfl:

(But even this is more effort than some blokes go to! :D)

    Rofl i love it

qwiksave - thats so funny - however cheap it is - i bet its the 1 card that gets talked about for years and years when all the others are forgotten about.

  • I was slightly disappointed earlier i bought a stix 2 glue gun from the craft shop on thursday i made 1 card and decorated about 12 notebooks and both sides of 12 coasters then it ran out of glue. Looked online and refills are about 7 quid .

Result though my hubby remembered me talking about atg guns which hold far more glue and refills are cheaper and he looked online and ordered me one. Knew there was a reason i married him.
