Thanks Skiergirl looks like it's 11 of us how exciting and a bit scarey at the same time!! I also wasn't brave enought to post a pic of 'my desk' which was half the lounge this morning as I was crafting!!
Not seen Choccy or Rusty for a couple of days hope you are both ok. Especially Rusty after her weekend away in Bonny Scotland.0 -
furry - sounds like you had a good time! Wish there was things like that around here - there is a distinct shortage!!!!
I know what you mean I would love to be able to meet up with other crafters on a regular basis if only once a month. I love card making but it is so lonely sitting in my little room on my ownsome. Than heavens I found you ladies on here:wave: Kate :hello:0 -
Furry - I'll be there! :j:j
Whoopidoo - thanks for the link, I'll have a go at entering that if I can ever remember the password for my blog!I can't leave comments anywhere cos it keeps asking me to log in, so can I add -how cute are your girls hiding under the desk! At least you get to keep an eye on them while you're crafting.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
nannyboo - I know there are hardly any small craft shops round here - I always seem to miss out on enrolling for a night class. So very sad, just potter at home but in my virtual world its very creative - God reading this back I sound totally bonkers!!!0

That is sooo funny! Infact she has single handedly put me off Kanban and I immediately stop listening/watching when she starts 'deoning on'!!
I'm so glad it isn't just me who feels like that. The sad thing is she is the person who inspired me to make cards. i used to love watching her then discovered the other channel. It seems strange to have two such different ends of the scale. I haven't both many things from either channel but found QVC stuff to be better quality and i used everything from whatever I ordered. but I much prefer the presenters on Create and craft they seem far more friendly and approachable - does that make sense. I discovered them when Alan and Barry were presenters on the craft. Kate :hello:0 -
Must admit I never watch the QVC craft sows but watch Create & Craft - love the bloke (so technical
But I never remember their names) - he gets so involved.
Thanks Jailhousebabe they love it under thereI'm always forgetting passwords - I think they can send you a reminder if you want to enter that candy

We have places that do classes but they are always in the day when I am working. Or if they do them in an evening I can't get as I don't drive (only hubby round the bend) and hubby is not available every other week.
If there is anyone close to me who fancies meeting up once a month I have a hubby who will drive me anywhere at a weekend. If you live in Nottingham even better as he supports Forest so it would mean he could go watch them with a valid reason lol. Kate :hello:0
