Rainmac:I should have asked this on your blog but i forgot, you have used a smirk stamp to make a card and i was wondering what you used to colour the image.

Sorry, not mine, I don't have any Smirk stamps ;)

Big hello to all new people :hello:, please stick around we are a lovely bunch and like to chat and share ideas :D

I should be up to date on blogs now :T. Visited too many to mention but have to say Mel's 'stupid' box is completely stunning - go have a look if you haven't seen it yet... http://melissa75-melsmess.blogspot.com/2009/10/stupid-box.html

Rusty, brilliant news about your car, NEC here we come :j :j :j

Gemm, I got the chocolate cheesecake recipe from my SIL and it is gorgeous and very easy to make. You need 142ml whipping cream, 1 pot of mascarpone, 150g white chocolate (I used Green & Blacks), 50g butter and half a pack of dark choc digestives crushed and a loaf tin (2lb I think) lined with cling film. All you do is melt the chocolate (I do this in a bowl in the microwave for a minute, stir and if still has lumps in pop back in for 30 seconds and leave to cool. Whip the cream and fold into the mascarpone then fold in the cooled chocolate. Pop into the loaf tin and level off. Chill for 10 minutes or so while you melt the butter in a pan, stir in the biscuit crumbs and then add this on top of the creamy mixture. Press down and chill until required and turn out onto a plate. It's nice on its own or really nice with strawberries and/or raspberries :D

I know this thread is not necessarily known for it's money saving tips :p but I have a blog post here about making your own card toppers. They are truly beautiful... http://a-personaltouch.blogspot.com/2009/10/ive-been-getting-ready-for-christmas.html

Thanks Rainmac - I'd somehow missed Mellissas blog! rectified that now ;) For all you BIA users have you seen Lindas blog? She's amazing, sooo funny and just been accepted onto the BIA design team. She does have a tiny weeny obsession with Tim Holtz I must warn you ;) Her altered bean tins with the BIA are just... whoa!

eta: I've double checked the list and have definitely got you all now ;) I'm on Facebook too (Carmen Wing piccie of a cartoon character) if anyone fancies a natter anytime, I mainly go on there for the comps and the games. I haven't dabbled in the farm that everyone talks about though :P

Mumhug - sorry you can't make it to the NEC.

FLourgirl - what's wrong with going for it with a supermarket trolley???? Have a great time.

I'm off to soft play now - wish me luck!
