Thanks for the offer, that's really kind of you. Now I'm going to make up some feeble excuses as the thought of meeting new people terrifies me :o

God I am so shy but everyone here is so lovely, feel like we all know each other already. If I can do it, so can you x

have just caught up on blogs too, I am finally up to date with my internet commitments :rotfl: now for the washing!!

rainmac the stuff you have put on your blog for the craft fair is lovely. I saw a sign in my local town centre about a christmas craft fair the other week and thought about doing it but it was quite close timewise and didn't think I'd have the time or enough ideas to make stuff for it. Where do you find out about the fairs you do, apart from this one in the town I've never seen any advertised before?

I asked at the local toddler group as I know they have done them before and they have been really well attended in the past. 2 of the ones I am doing are at my son's school and preschool and the 4th is at the same place as I did the summer one and they wrote to me advertising it. If you are interested in doing one or two I would recommend getting in contact with a couple of local schools, especially primary schools as they do them to raise money.

  • God you lot don't half chat i've only been gone since yesterday lol.

Gemma welcome back hope you had a fab time .

Melissa you're no scrooge you're just trying to keep us all mse.

Ali fab blog i've joined your stalkers . my blog is http://craftygrannyscraftycorner.blogspot.com/ but not a lot going on there lately.

Big hello to Fuzzy and Daydream . If you would like any stamped images give me a shout and i'll pop you some in the post. The card /atc and stash swaps on crafty place are great. Also a good way to build up different stash.

I agree with flourgirl and melissa online is much cheaper than hobbycraft. The elves will help you out . They love to spend online. Can't remember who posted the link to little claire's and the promarkers i thank you my hubby wants to choke you lol.Although he did go on to say it makes a change from more stamps. anyone would think i buy a lot of them .

poor Rusty it all happens to you even buying stash doesn't go smoothly is your middle name disaster. lol. I wouldn't be happy if my stuff was all dented and scratched either.

Thank you to everyone for all the help and support re alicia hopefully by the weeekend i'll have a cards for alicia blog page up and running . It's a work in progress at the moment. You all rock .

Just asking for a very small favour of all you lovely cuttlebugglers! ;)

Ikki over on Ikkies Cuttlebug Cupboard here is asking for a card to be sent to her for sale by her Breast Cancer Unit to raise funds.

Ikkie is a mine of information and, although I don't have a Bug, everything she writes about is so worthwhile and if I have a problem with any Spellbinders stuff, she's usually the one with the answers. Please can you help?

    Ta! :D

Rainmac your craft fair goodies are gorgeous your brilliant ideas are always carried out with perfection. The Jingle beans are brill, i WANT TO DO SOME OF THE MINTS FOR THE TREE (woops caps!) but darent buy them yet cos I will eat them lol

WOW!! Rusty Love your Halloween bags they are fantastic. Full of yummy goodies, Thorntons Chocolate is my fave. I am sat eating a bag of ASDA chocolate buttons I have bought for snowman soup! I knew at the time it was too early to buy them!!

    Thanks Jamtart :)
  • I live near Aldershot, Hampshire. I don't have any holiday left to take, but maybe next time once I've got to know you all a bit :o

I looked at the stash swap, it looks really cool, but I'm not entirely sure I have the right stuff to swap. Are there photos anywhere of what you have swapped in the past? It would be really fun to do. I'll have a look at what I've got at home.

@DaydreamBeliever - nice to meet someone else who is not naturally artistic :) My collection is limited in comparison to what most people have I think.

My prized possessions are a paper slicer, scissors, double sided tape (there are many fancy adhesives, but double sided works out the cheapest I think), decoupage foam pads, I got a bumper box of coloured card for £4.99 from my craft shop - you pick what colours you want a fill a box up. You'll need envelopes. If you need to be thrifty, then make the cards by folding card, rather than buying ready made cards. I also love my Sakura quickie glue pen.

Start asking for relatives to pass their old cards on to you. You get bits of ribbon and sometimes if you're lucky some embellishments. And some cards are good enough to cut out and reuse the images, or make Christmas tags from.

@melissa - you sound like me, I don't drink, smoke, buy clothes or go out much either. My only big spend is going to concerts. After Christmas I should have some more money to spend on bits. I want a long handled punch and that gadget for scalloping the edges of cards. Oh and a gadget for cutting out circles. Hmmm I could go on.... :o
