    Gemm - welcome back!

Rainmac - I've ordered loads of the coredinations cardstock and some of the sale papers. I've also ordered this paper pad:
(sorry I've deleted the link as it shows my email addy & password - anyway its the october afternoon farm fresh pad!!!!).
I've had it sent to my Mum's address though so I can save it 'til xmas.

Helping_hubby - I must confess I do spend a lot on craft stuff, but then I don't drink, smoke or go out and I never really buy clothes - so I figure I deserve a treat!

Rusty - I like those Kraftin Kimmie stamps, I haven't ordered any yet though, I was waiting until the new releases are out at the beginning of Nov to see if I like any of those.

Paddingtondoo - another fab bear card - he is a cutie! I posted your fat page off this morning - I hope it arrives soon, can't wait to get yours!!

Fuzzymoneymonster - welcome to the thread!!!!

Ali - congratulations on your new blog!!!! Your cards look fabulous, my favourite one is the black and white monster one!!!

Daydreambeliever - what a lovely thing to say - welcome to the thread!! I'd say the basics are a good supply of double sided tape, coloured cardstock - I tend to but 12x12 sheets, but the papermill do a great selection of a4 card. Then there's patterned paper which give an extra touch to a card - a lot of us on here use 6x6 inch paper pads by a company called basic grey. These are great - the papers are lovely, I also buy a lot of 12x12 paper if the design is small enough to look good on a card. Next you'll need a focal point to your cards - the last few months I have got into stamping in a big way - you can pick up some gorgeous stamps and if you buy clear/unmounted ones they're not too expensive. Or if you have a printer there's some fabulous digital images out there, and if you search you'll find loads of freebies. Another thing to buy is flowers to decorate your cards - I posted some links a few pages back to some cheap ones! Sorry to ramble on!!!! I find that hobbycraft is quite expensive, but its nice to go and have a look at the products, see what you like first - I order everything online, but normally wait until there's an offer on for free postage or a discount!

Flourgirl - thanks for the recommendation - I seem to be the resident scrooge on here!!!!

Here's an offer anyway - this site has a free postage on at the minute:
    http://www.thescrapbookgarden.co.uk/index.php
if you spend over 12.50 , type in the code "FREEPOSTOCT", this lasts for the whole of Oct. They don't stock a lot , but they do stock the new prima eline flowers for 1.50.

Thanks girls for your kind comments and advice - ooh getting all excited again - have even been to Craftyplace and registerered there as well -still fiddling on with the blog though - which I shouldnt as knowing my luck will end up losing it!!
Anyway - can I ask do you need to ask peoples permission to put their blog details on yours?? was doing a blog list on mine - only got as far as rainmacs - and then had a doubt if I needed their permission - so hopefully can get all your blogs on mine? Hope that makes sense.

Got a bit of a shopping list building up for creative craft world!

Hi ali I dont think you need permisson I have never asked for any, people are usually quite happy for you to look and leave comments. They are not password protected once you have signed in to google so dont worry. You can certainly display mine.... it you want to.

phew, have just finished reading all the pages I missed! Looks like quite a few newbies on here so will just say a big group hello :hello: to all of you! :)

Ali, I'm not sure if there is a protocol, but I'm sure people wouldn't mind you putting links on your blog to theirs, I have seen quite a few of these lists on blogs, after all by providing a link you are encouraging people to visit their blog which is only a good thing! For the record, I don't mind if you put mine on there ;) lol

Excuse me Mrs!! but I resemble the last comment :rotfl:

I have just posted again on the craftyplace thread :j :j :j :j :j I should have my car back at the weekend or beginning of next week :j :j :j :j :j told you I WOULD be there ;) .... cost me a fortune today for a new pump though :(

I have had loads of my parcels come today :j ... I have a couple of cc designs stamps, a kraftin kimmie stamp, a couple of alota stamps, some new basic grey nook and pantry papers some lovely freebie charms from quixotic paperie, some k&co papers, some bo bunny 12x12 papers and some very very small and pathetic tins which I copied you!! lol

Rainmac your tin was it all scratched?? mine came wrapped in a clear bag but it is all badly scratched and looks horrible!! not brand new, or at least if it is then it has been stored in a bad way!!

Yaaaayyy, your car's fixed!!! :T :j :T :jMy large tin looks a bit scratched but I thought I could cover that with paper or something but the tins inside are fine, blinking tiny  but fine - wish I'd looked at a ruler like the very sensible Choccy but then I am a nutter :p. I've popped red jelly beans in them and added some ribbon and I think they look lovely (wish they were bigger though). Need to get some more beans cos we've been eating them :o

Ali, glad you're going to come and have a look at Crafty Place. We do monthly stash swaps, card challenges and card & ATC swaps.

Padster, love your latest bear card, are you trying to get into the World Record book for being the person with the most bear stamps/images ;)

Hi DayDreamBeliever, please don't lurk, we're lovely x

Had a go at making some craft fair stuff last night... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/. Need to crack on with more tonight. We've got friends coming round tomorrow night for a game of Guitar Hero and a Chinese. Should be fun but I have loads of housework, ironing etc to do to get ready for it and I can't be bothered. Really want to curl up on the sofa with a cuppa and the 2 craft mags I bought this morning :o :rotfl:

Has anyone ever bought little labels to put on the back of their cards from ebay - 'handmade by......' type ones? I think I NEED some but my printer is garbage so I don;t think it would cope with stickers given that it throws a fit if I even dare to suggest printing a digital stamp on a piece of A4.
Rainmac, I think there was one on something you sent me recently. Did you make them yourself?

Got them free (just paid p&p) from Vistaprint, there are loads of designs :D

have just caught up on blogs too, I am finally up to date with my internet commitments :rotfl: now for the washing!!

rainmac the stuff you have put on your blog for the craft fair is lovely. I saw a sign in my local town centre about a christmas craft fair the other week and thought about doing it but it was quite close timewise and didn't think I'd have the time or enough ideas to make stuff for it. Where do you find out about the fairs you do, apart from this one in the town I've never seen any advertised before?
