I haven't made anything for 3 days, think all our mojos are having a little get together without us
Rusty, please take things as easy as you can. Congrats on the nappy cake orderDid the mug stamp arrive? Our post has been carp for weeks, turned up at 1.30pm yesterday while we were out and there was a parcel to be signed for so it's gone back to the sorting office
We went to see the new film, UP today, it was brilliant. I think I enjoyed it more than the boys. It's quite sentimental and very lovely.
Think I am going to take myself to bed (OH engrossed in FIFA 2010) and compile a things left to do for my first craft fair, it's in 4 weeks and I am nowhere near ready
Night night
I can't believe they are all having a party without us!! bet we arrange to put them to good use when they come back to us
I promise I am taking things as easy as I can, although OH is on a train to aberdeen as we speak so I am once again on my own with the troublesome 2!! back to the daily grind tomorrow!! Still car less, but I WILL BE AT THE NEC! I figure I stand a chance if I keep chanting it daily
Stamp hasn't turned up as yet, probably tomorrow as I don't remember seeing the postman yesterday which is unusual!
Saveapennt - Awwwwww how cute is he!! isn't it funny how we could spend hundreds on appropriate toys for the kids and they happily play in boxes!! .. My DS will still happily clamber into washing baskets and boxes and play for hours and he is 7!!!
Paddingtondoo - beautiful cards!! as always! I love the trifold you have done! I can't leave comments as it says they have been posted but actually haven't! Is anyone else having problems?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Piccy here with an excert from the original post. Thanks LEia - I think you're right it is the lili of the valley challenge that I was thinking of.I've also been trying to make a Christmas card for a child - its a blog challenge somewhere but I've forgotten quite where and have probably missed the deadline but I need some help. I started off with an embossed sheet of paper - I'm sorry, I don;t know the name as Saveapenny did it for me a while ago on her bug. I thought it was a bit too much all at once so cut out a couple of swuares for use on other cards but the remaining shape reminded me of a window so I thought I'd use that as the basis for the card. The card blank reminds me of snowflakes and I've put a Christmas tree in the window. But what should I put in the top of the window? Any suggestions gratefully received.
That's okay! I've just looked at your card and thought it would be really cool if you had a little silhouette of Santa on his sleigh being pulled by the reindeers in the top of the window... x0 -

Mary - well 10 hours after diagnosing himself with swine flu again he made a full recovery!!! Its a miracle - or maybe he didn't have swine flu after all!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kim_Possible - great halloween cards - thanks so much for entering!!!!
Hello to my fellow mojo losers!!! I had a fab night a few days ago and managed to make a few cards and colour some images. Then last night I settled down to make one of those spinner cards with the coins - it took me about 2 hours, and I'm still not happy with it - I felt like burning it!! I was so annoyed with myself, mind you I re-read the instructions today and turns out I was making it more complicated than it needed to be.
Paddingtondoo - lovely lilac cards - my favourite is your pig one. Your notebooks and calendars / post it note holders are fabulous too!
Saveapenny - what a gorgeous toy box for Harry - and so designer in those basic grey papers!! He's adorable!!!0 -
Dorato - your cards are great as usual - what happened - just read about the dog biting your face????0

Morning all! Back from an absolutely fab weekend in Portsmouth, we even made it on the BBC local news on Saturday evening. Peoples' faces were an absolute picture, wide open with amazement by being greeted by 150 Red Hatters in the local shopping centre. A great time.
Isn't that Harry one little Yummee, saveapenny.
:hello: Dorato, I'll connect with your blog soon.
Hip hop skipperty bop to blogland to catch up with every one:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
sunshine keep all your stamps! you'll miss them if you got rid of them, I love mine. What sort of stamps do you have? I love embossing with mine and have one or two particular favourites that I use a lot. The posters on here will tell you that I don't use many of the Magnolia style of stamps 'cos my colouring is carp. I love using a stamp with either a nestie or a punch for extra effect.
Hi
Ive got loads of different kinds (I went through a Dawn Bibby phase and just kept buying even though I wasnt making any cards!). Japanese inspired ones, Xmas ones, disney - I just cant seem to get my cards to look nice like the ones shown on here. They always end up looking a bit tacky. May perceivere and if all else fails Ill sell them. Thanks for your reply. Great thread.:smileyhea0 -

Dawn Bibby stamps are lush, try posting a pic of the sort of thing you'd like to create and we will try and help out. For me personally I find doing the many layers that some cards have very difficult. Don't get me wrong 'cos I aspire to make mine like that but fall very short. I find colouring images difficult and try to copy the colouring on a card I've found. Keep at it and let us know. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
