Gemm, your kittens are adorable!!! We had 2 kittens from the Cats Protection league 8 years ago, called them Ben and Jerry. They had been found with their mum and sisters at the side of a road, the day of the twin towers disaster. Having two is fab as they will keep each other entertained rather than climbing up your curtains, scratching at your sofa etc
How exciting, roll on 31st October
Sal, I could just pop your little cat in my pocket and bring him home, he's gorgeous x
Love the Halloween card Ali
Mel, where did you order the new BG paper from? I need it
Hi Dorato, I am a follower of your blog too:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Mel, where did you order the new BG paper from? I need it
So do I!!
I am running low on my basic grey and need something else!
Gemm - Beautiful kittens!! they are absolutely adorable!! I remember when I picked up my 2 old cats, my first Herbie chose me from the cats protection league, he climbed up me and covered my face as I tried to move to look at another cat!!! so I just knew he was the one!! then my other old cat Tinkerbell was chosen by Thomas, she was a right little madam, even though she had Herbie to keep her company you could guarantee that she would be up to no good!!! I miss my cats
Saveapenny - sounds like you had a fantastic time!!! back to earth with a crash now?
struggling to remember all of the posts!!! ...
We were out yesterday all day looking at new cars for me/OH/both of us!! think we saw something for me which would do me for now, but still need to look around etc! then I was at work, what a killer that was, I was in so much pain that FIL kept kicking me out from behind the bar to sit down. I was supposed to be back at work this morning cleaning, but I can barely walk/move. OH had to help me get up off the chair with lots of screaming!!!
Not sure if I have just done too much this week or if I have done more damage which has made the pain worse
Hope everyone has a fab day, OH has to get on a train at 4:40 today so we lose half a day with himRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Dorato - your xmas cards are gorgeous!!!
Mary - I can't believe how much you've made so far - I've been useless and only managed to make 2 xmas cards!
Gemm - what cute cats - I'm afraid I'm not a cat person at all - I'm allergic to them.
Sally - I love your cats ears too.
Dawnteabag - your xmas cards are perfect as they are, they're really lovely. Tom's pumpkins are fabulous!
saveapenny - welcome back - sounds like you had a fab time!
Rainmac/ Rusty - I ordered the basic grey pad from happy daze. I've just checked though and its showing as "out of stock". I'll let you know if I see it anywhere else.0 -
Rusty/ Rainmac - this store has it to pre-order, free postage if you spend over 20quid.

Hi Dawn
These are really lovely, I like the use of the ribbon and the colour theme, where did you get the lovely little stars?

Sorry can't stop long my eyes are still not quite right so I have to chose whether to craft or go on my pc in the evenings because I strain them if I try and do both. I've posted a couple of Christmassy cards on my blog. Am looking for suggestions for improvement on some of them so would love it if you could pop by.
I know they're not cards so aren't eligible for the challenge but I had to show you what "&son" has made today. He got a bit obseessed with the concept of fimo just after his birthday and splashed out a high percentage of his birthday money on fimo and tools but we've never quite had time to try and make anything yet. I've never made anything myself and didn't really have any instructions to follow so I had to think of something easy quickly before he attempted to make something too extravagant and it all went horribly wrong. I'll try and get him to add some comments to his blog tomorrow but he's such a busy boy!0 -
What a waldo I am - I've been asking for suggestions for improvement on a card I forgot to post a picture of over on my blog. Doh!
Piccy here with an excert from the original post. Thanks LEia - I think you're right it is the lili of the valley challenge that I was thinking of.I've also been trying to make a Christmas card for a child - its a blog challenge somewhere but I've forgotten quite where and have probably missed the deadline but I need some help. I started off with an embossed sheet of paper - I'm sorry, I don;t know the name as Saveapenny did it for me a while ago on her bug. I thought it was a bit too much all at once so cut out a couple of swuares for use on other cards but the remaining shape reminded me of a window so I thought I'd use that as the basis for the card. The card blank reminds me of snowflakes and I've put a Christmas tree in the window. But what should I put in the top of the window? Any suggestions gratefully received.0 -

Well spotted too, Little Bob is a Norwegian Forest cat, he's our baby one, we've already got one called Kai who's 4 years old, they've got fantastic personalities!

dawn - Toms pumpkins are fab!! I remember when I was a young(er!) girl, I made a tomato shaped pen holder, by sticking a pen in the top before the clay set then when it was all dry it would hold a pen! my auntie had it by her phone for years :rotfl: I love your gold xmas cards too, they look so classy
saveapenny glad to see you back from cardiff, enjoy your new radley handbag! you deserve to be spoilt on your birthday, as I say to my OH - "I'm worth it!"and another new baby in the family, at least Harry will have a playmate now
