Well the bad news of today is that the fuel pump for my car is actually more expensive that first thought. For a genuine vauxhall part it is £2100  I only paid £2300 for the car 2 years ago ... OH is considering holding out for them to change the date on the scrappage scheme then get rid of mine!!I aint happy!!! .... I HAVE to have a car before November cause I WILL BE AT THE NEC!!!
Another lovely suprise which I had forgotten about was all my lovely charms, flowers and gems from that company melissa posted the link to ... Wow the charms are so beautiful and I love the flowers aswell!! Never used Gems in my life but now have no excuse!
yet again Rusty our lives are so similar
we're now waiting to hear if the turbo has damaged the engine , if it has then we're stuffed and we're also going to Birmingham and I haven't a clue how we're going to get there with no car
I'm so upset as we've been planning this since February and saving hard so we've got money to spend and this has taken the edge off it slightly !!0 -
Thanks CT, love your Halloween card, well done!
I know how annoying it is when you're without your phone, it's like you've lost a limb! I know I couldn't go that long without a phone - did you end up getting a nice one that you like?

No I didn't, I got a full refund though, and will definitely go back when I have my new sim card, as they were letting me have a samsung something or other; in car charger; £10 air time all for £33.95, as I got a £30 discount for already having a virgin mobile :T. The phone on its own without the discount would have been £50.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Sally and CT19720- great cards!
Dorato - welcome to the thread, look forward to seeing your cards.
Ali - if Rusty has bought a lottery ticket this week, I want her to send me the numbers to make sure I don't have the same ones! I don't need that kind of luck! (sorry Rusty)
Melissa - I've never heard of anyone as generous as Steph. I like to think I'm not a skinflint (I'll search high and low for a bargain but I'll still be the first one to get a round in), but I could never afford to give away so much!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Dorato - welcome to the thread - I'm looking forward to seeing your cards when you manage to steal the camera back!
CT19720 - fabulous halloween card - thanks for entering, I hope your phone gets sorted soon!
Jailhousebabe - the postage alone must cost her a bomb a week - I'd love to win one of her card sets!0 -
Rusty the charger is built in so no probs there for you. Big problem for choccy it's got no basket lol. Good news is my son has a huge trailer in the garage if you wanna try pulling that. Might slow you down a bit though. I still haven't plucked up the courage to try it yet . It's huge and a bit scary but i have promised to try it out tomorrow.
My new lappy has finally dispatched so fingers crossed for tomorrow. Not with royal mail thank god.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month
No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -

sally beautiful card for your friend and what a lovely thought
gosh rusty and sunrise, this isn't a good thread to be on for car trouble is it!!
I am up early as I can't sleep, too excited as OH has said we can go and look at some kittens later on today! I phoned the lady us yesterday and we are going at 5, only 12 hours to go!! I will be decorating the spare room and the downstairs toilet in the meantime to keep me occupied, I managed to get one wall of the spare room done last night and although it didn't feel like that long, it took me an hour and a half!0 -
Gemm - you mad creature being up so early! Kittens - how lovely - how many are you going to have?
Sally - that is a beautiful card, I bet your friend will love it.
Dorato - hello and welcome. Looking forward to seeing some of your creations.0 -
