    Hi Girls

Thanks for all your encouragement over on the other thread, I really appreciate it!

Rainmac, I replied on your blog, but had to say againg, your pegs are fabulous! Such lovely colours and embellishments! As are the handbags!

Thanks to all you other lovely ladies for your encouragement too!

A very close friend did me a huge favour this past week, (well not me directly but my DS) so I did her this card, what do you think?

No lady you are carrying all the crafty stash we buy!!! :rotfl:

Bad news again!!! ... I am absolutely fuming tonight!! ... the garage who were supposed to be paying for the repair on OH's car have now refused!!! ... a new cylinder head will cost £600 that is without any labour, plus the water pumps are few and far between :( which means that if the one in leeds doesn't arrive then they have to source one from europe!!! ... OH was waiting for a call back from them, but looks like OH will be without a car for a while aswell as he is refusing to pay for any work and will be going to a claims court/seeking legal advice as he lost a days pay last week and train is costing him £80 a week!!!!

    Sally beautiful card :)

I love making cards. I've been doing it for some time now. I'll get some pictures of some of my recent stuff and out them on here some time when I remember to turn the camera on!

Rusty sorry to hear that your car is still not healthy and I can imagine your shock at the price of a new part, but hope you manage to sort your OHs one out soon though. Surely your run of bad luck can’t continue, things can only get better.

Rainmac – gorgeous pegs and bags. Good luck with all your craft fairs. Making stuff for them all is certainly going to keep you busy.

Sal – good luck to you with your fair too. I’m sure you will enjoy doing it once you are there and selling everything you have made. Fab card for your friend, I’m sure she will love it.

Great news that you have a scooter Craftygranny – there will be no stopping you now!

JHB – have a fab girls night out tomorrow. Fingers crossed for your job applications, and hope you get something very soon.

MrsTidge – have fun at the stamping up party next week.

Fantastics halloween card on your blog Flourgirl.

Look forward to seeing some of your cards Dorato.

Skiergirl - what a small world. The road around here with amazing lights at Christmas is Lower Morden Lane, which is very close to Tudor Drive. My kids love going down to see the lights, even though there is a traffic jam whenever we go!

I've had one of those days too, where nothing goes right so I know how you're feeling Mary. Went to treat myself to a new mobile phone, chose the one I liked paid for it and the salesman said did I want him to set it up for me. He tried to, and 2 hours later having tried 3 phones, they all kept hanging in a certain mode, and didn't recognize my sim. It eventually turns out that my sim is so old new phones won't read it . Because I want to keep my number, I need to get Virgin to reissue me a new sim card but it means that I am without my number for 4 days while it is being sorted out . So I got a full refund and will have to try again in a couple of weeks. I then went to Ikea for the 6th time to get the £5 voucher to be told that the promotion has been pulled as they have given out way more vouchers than the thought they would (although I have managed to get £25:D). Apparently, there has been a huge take up of the offer and Ikea in Croydon have had 16500 books taken in. Still I got rid of 25 books, that I couldn't ever shift at car boot sales so am happy while it lasted.

Cheered myself up tonight by making a halloween card for this week's challenge, made entirely out of freebie downloads:

I think I like it, but have no one to give it too, so if anyone would like it and can use it, pm me and I'll send it out to you.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Thanks CT, love your Halloween card, well done!

I know how annoying it is when you're without your phone, it's like you've lost a limb! I know I couldn't go that long without a phone - did you end up getting a nice one that you like?
