I have never used promarkers with a waterbrush, always for colouring straight onto card with them! ;)

Another quickie from me - vision still appalling so I'll just assume you've all been busy making beautiful cards - I'll hae a lot of caching up to do again once I'm sighted again!
Main reason for posting was to advise the winner of the childrens challenge on CP has been announced. Random number generator was my son choosing a number between 1 and 8 and he chose number 7.
I did go to Harrogate as I was determined that since I'd bought tickets and sorted out the cmpsite for the weekend that I'd just have to make the best of it. Mum came with us as chauffeur but didn't atually come into the show. Tom joined me Saturday and we both made a bling mini book. Sunday, I went on my own and made another minibook. Was much quieter on Sunday and I spent a little more than I meant to - never mind!
I have made 3 cards for the troops which I'll get sent off to yu Marg if you PM me your address. I'll see if my eyes are up to an attempt to post pics later on but suspect I'll be all headached out by then!
    Keep up the good work!

    :hello:Hi everyone :hello:

After months of not being able to do much crafting for many reasons, I'm now getting back into it and find that there is a new thread! I won't be able to go back and read what everyone has been up to but, will start to follow this thread more regularly, and catch up on blogs. I have done a few cards in the last few weeks which are here. I haven't been buying crafting bits either so am I'm looking forward to looking at all the great website that you post and spending some pennies! I'll start popping back onto CP as well.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Sorry I meant to reply when I saw your first post :o I don't think Promarkers would work with water as I think they are permanent markers. You can use a blender pen (but I've read negaitve reviews of the blender pens) or build up colour by reapplying the same colour again or going over with a different colour. I am a complete Promarker novice but that's what I think x

Thank you so much for the beautiful card, will post on my blog when the camera is charged, thank you :D

Rusty - I love that card, like others have said I'm sure he will appreciate it much more than a bought one!

I meant to say earlier, if no-one has already volunteered I wouldn't mind running the next challenge!!

Rusty said she would do the next challenge but she is probably snowed under with birthday prep for her DS so check with Rusty but maybe you could do this next one and then Rusty go after you?

I'm sorry this is off topic but I had to tell someone...
my ds (8) had to go for an MRI today. I was sooooooooo proud of him. he went in the scanner no problem and had the bit put over his head. he lay completely still for about 30 minutes. I don't know if I could have done it... there was never a sign of panic or distress.

all my visitors have gone now but I am so tired I think I might have an early night and catch up tomorrow.

Please don't apologise!!! Your DS is far braver than me, I've only ever had an MRI once and felt so claustrophobic (sp?), couldn't wait to get out and I was probably only in it for 15 minutes or so. You should feel soooo proud of him xxx
