Well I'm back from Harrogate! Only been in about an hour fed cats made a cuppa & caught up with all your posts.

I've had a lovely day and I'm [STRIKE]kn[/STRIKE] exhausted! The satnav said it would take 1hr 10 mins to get there - it was 2 hours! A59 all the way - sorry Myz no A1 for me. So :hello: now.
At first, it seemed like bedlam noisy & a bit overwhelming & I wasn't sure but I soon got into the swing of it. I got several bits, some glitter, some ribbon, some pretty flourish stamps (I don't stamp!) and some card blanks but like Padster I was disappointed with craftworks stand I was after white small scalloped cards too. Sorry I didn't see you annoying people with your backpack or you Ali B.

I started to feel a bit sorry for DH who had driven me there and had gone for a walk outside while he waited for me so I called it a day and we went into Harrogate itself & did a bit of clothes shopping then had tea in Betty's.

Penance tomorrow - loads of housework & ironing while DH goes for bike ride.

Gemma & Padster - your cards arrived while I was out - THANK YOU

Hels - No, it's not too late to send cards.

I'll wait 'til the end of next week before I send them all off but I'd like to know by Tuesday for the draw. Talking of which, is there a volunteer out there to run the next challenge please?

Rusty - Hope your car gets fixed soon - Is it something the garage did wrong?

Flourgirl - Per Una tokens! Love it:rotfl:

Sally your kitten is absolutely gorgeous!! We have 2 old cats & we keep saying we wont have anymore so we can go away on the spur of the moment but one look at your kitten and I weaken big time!
I'm so sorry your brother is suffering. It sounds grim for you all (((Hugs)))

Sally - your kitten is so cute!
Lei- well done on your commission I am sure they will love the card it is lovely.
Marg & Paddington - I was a bit overwhelmed when I first got there as you said noisy and a bit of a bun fight trying to look at things - no- missed pink tshirt and backpack maybe if you had a trolly might have remembered!! seem to have had toes run over by a couple of them! lol. Dare not go to look at anything else now for ooh at least a fortnight!! Going to Centreparcs next week so hopefully he will have forgotten what has been bought and I can hit the craft shops again!.
  • Melissa - the ribbon storage was £17.99 here - ribbons are pretty jumbled up inside, but I'm hoping that they won't actually get tangled!

SallyUK - so sorry to hear of your brother's suffering (and yours of course). Your cat is beautiful.

Those matchbox advent calendars are lovely - but I don't think I've got the patience to do it properly iykwim!

So envious of you people who went to the show and are now home with lovely new stash to play with ;)

Rusty, you are really having an up and down time, fab news about your nappy cakes at the florists and that your car was back but not that it is poorly again :(. I love your DS's cards on your blog, what a thoughtful little guy he is :D

Sal, love your kitten, he can come and stay at mine anytime ;) Sending you lots of strength xxx

Flourgirl, glad you had a good day at the bakery :D

Mel, I got the EMM email too but chose to delete it without looking at the link but have just had a sneaky look at your link , 35% off is fab, what did you order then...?;)

I've got loads of ironing to do today, why do I always have loads of ironing, however much I do, there's always loads more? I wish the government would create a new law that irons are banned and we all have to wear creased clothes. I may write to 10 Downing Street to suggest it :p

Fab cards and other things on blogs, think I am up to date with them all. I've posted some new cards on mine... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/

There's a fab challenge on the Bee Crafty blog to create a bookmark and there's a great freebie digi stamp too ;)

I'm doing the draw for the card swap partners on Crafty Place tomorrow so if you'd like to take part, please hop on over and put your name down :D

    Happy Sunday everyone x
