I just thought I would let you know I am going to the stitch and creative craft show next Saturday. there was one last week at Manchester and next week it is Esher which is just up the road from me. Tickets are £5.50 if u use a code and children under 16 go free so DD and I are gonna have a girlie day while 'the boys' bond and go off to a footie match!

They also have shows at Belfast, Malvern, London, Shepton Mallet and Edinburgh just in case any of you fancy it!! Will report back as to what it's like!! I don't do any 'stitch' type crafts but it seems to cater for cardmaking too.

Hi, Its only been a day and loads of pages to catch up on already!!;)

I know I have missed loads of people off so really sorry to those missed had a quick nosy on blogs and all the creations are lovely - well done:T
Rusty - I live near Middlesbrough.
Hels - I am just glad you are happy with them!
Had a nice surprise today hubby took me to Harrogate - I showed him the advert at the beginning of the week and asked if he would take me but nothing more said so just assumed that was it and when we got up he told me to hurry up so we could get to Harrogate - so surprised as he moans when I am on here but then encourages me to go and spend!! OOh I might have been near some of you lovely ladies! How weird:D (in a nice way!) Didnt spend too much but had a demo of the Sizzix Big thingy v. impressed! But think I have a long way to go yet before get one of those.

  • Rusty - lovely xmas cards, and your sons are gorgeous too - what a sweetie - no wonder he made you cry - what a thoughtful boy. I am really tempted to get a cuttlebug just for the nesties - the shapes look so effective.

Polly - great card, really classy and sophisticated - love the snowflakes!!!

Mrs Tidge - fab cards and creations - love those 3 bugs papers - perfect for boys. How much did your ribbon tidy cost and does the ribbon get tangled inside??? I must find a better way of storing mine.

Shiningdove - welcome to the thread! What sort of products were you looking for - it might give me a better idea of where to recommend??? Check out the link that I posted a page ago for the basic grey pads - I can't recommend these papers enough for card making. Otherwise I buy my products from all over the place - depending on where has decent offers on.

    Good Afternoon Ladies

Thanks so much for all your kind words, it's very much appreciated.

I've not heard anything yet today, last I heard was that he was crying when his family were there visiting him and that he was saying to them he didn't want to leave them but that Betty (my sister who died at Xmas) was telling him it was ok to the same place as her?? Now that really spooked me out as he's got dementia and doesn't recognise people or remember things????

Some beautiful things you're all making, keep up the good work as I'll need something to keep me sane once things get back to normal.

Oh and I was surprised this afternoon with this!

    Afternoon all!

Sal my heart goes out to you, try and stay strong, and if you need a chat you know we are all here for you! Beautiful kitten!! xx

Thankyou for all of the lovely comments on my cards, and even more so the lovely cards on Thomas's! he is very proud of them. I text my mum to let her know and she is very proud of him for remembering my G'dad in his own special way!

Well I have got my car back, I picked it up yesterday ... we went out this afternoon to the boating lake to feed the swans, one of the swans took a piece of bread out of DD's hands ... she didn't know what had happened as it happened so fast!! :rotfl: was quite funny to see, but she was lucky that she wasn't nipped ..... anyway on the way home I smelt rubber .... and then lost my steering :(.... luckily I wasn't going fast but I didn't half panic! One of my belts has snapped so OH drove the rest of the way home on battery power as the belt on the alternator has gone and also the power steering!! ... back a whole 24 hours and I have broken it again!! Aren't I clever :D:D:D

Well I'm home from the cake shop and I'm shattered, we were so busy I didn't even get to eat a bun . Had a yummy sandwich at lunch and a bottle of lucozade this afternoon (needed more energy). Rainmac thank goodness we don't get paid in produce, my DH thinks I get paid in Per Una Tokens :D
I had 2 lovely suprises to open when I got home Mrs Tidge :T thankyou so much for the promarker and the beautiful card. If you PM your address I will send you a little thankyou. Fab card on your blog too :T The other thing was my prize from the challenge for the calendar, of Lawrence L Bowen papers. Rainmac you were right, they are lovely. Look out ;).

Rusty your cards on your blog are fabulous:T. Tell Thomas his were brilliant too:T what a thoughtful little man, grandad would have been so proud of him.

Sally your new kitten is so cute. I'd love another cat but we go away too much at the moment.

    Gemma Gorgeous card :T

Melissa Thankyou for the link I will have a look after tea :D
