  • Craftygranny - I'd count your daughter's comments as compliments. I absolutely adore anything handmade whereas my sister would prefer to go out and spend a fortune in the shops.

Lei-Armstrong - fantastic card, I love the beach scene - was the card difficult to make???

Flourgirl - congratulations - sounds like you won a fab prize!!

Rainmac - congratulations on your win too - fantastic - 6 promarkers!!!

Polly - sorry to hear about your OH's accident. What an absolutely beautiful card - I love the colour combination, and I love the greenery that you've used. Fabulous coloured image too.
  • Glad OH is ok Polly - they say things come in 3s - does that mean I'm safe to go out now?

That stamp is a Sugar Nellie Rusty - am sure it was out of stock when I looked the other day - its on the bottom of the funky kits page.

Well done on your wins everyone - haven't made anything today yet but got some smallish pens in Tesco 37p for 6. Took some books back to the charity shop and came out with more than I took in :o
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

  • Hey ladies congratulations on all you winning  you definiatly need to buy lottery tickets this week.

Have made a few cards this morning and will post them to my blog later and put a link up for you.

Can anyone please tell me how I go about doing the cards for the soldiers? As an army wife this is something I would really like to do.

We have been making them for a challenge set my the lovely Marg on this thread. Best bet is to contact her by PM I think as she has the contact details of where the cards are to be sent (we've sent our cards to Marg and she is very kindly going to send them as a job lot). Our challenge doesn't finish until Monday if you'd like to enter it :D

I think I will do them separately as the look on their little faces on Xmas Eve morning last year was priceless. I am planning on not spending any more money than I would have done for Xmas but the presents will be spread over 25 days, with a few non-present days mixed in where we will do things or go places instead.
