zoelikesjam wrote: »Hi everyone! I'm new to the thread but been happily crafting away for many years! I've now been given the go ahead to buy my CRICUT! but unsure if i should go for this or the silohette, does anyone have any tips on the higher priced die cutters? x
I have had a brief look at both, and I like the look of the Silhouette as the possibilities are endless. Google "cricut or silhoutte" and have a look at soem of the pros and cons. can i be your friend if you get a silhouette pleeeeeease??

Spooky mine is an Impress and yet the fairies and smirk girlies just won't play ball
I get one 'good' stamp, maybe 2, on a whole A4 sheet of card, so it's quite expensive so I'll go back to abstaining from stamping I think lol
Hiya Myz not sure if this will help but with your clear stamps get an ordinary rubber - pencil eraser and give your stamps a good going over. Next time you have a few pence to spare Tim Holtz does this pad which is good for stamping on and also sort of priming your stamps, it looks like a very gentle scouring pad.
If I have a problem with clear stamps and ink I usually go back and use Versafine. Hope this helps. I apologise if anyone else has answered but I'm in catch-up, no internet connection at work  and busy at home.
Marg thanks for extending our 'cards for the troops' I want to make some more as well, good I dea about usuing sandwich bags, hadn't thought of that. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
