Sillyinthepast - welcome to the thread :hello:

After doing the stitched card I picked up a cross stitch today that I started ages ago - when I looked at the chart it is 6 double sides of A4  - now I know why I haven't touched it in ages :rotfl::rotfl:
I have also made a couple of cards but can't find the camera :o

Louby-Lou-Lou - lovely baby cards, good luck with your craft fair this weekend - make sure you take some pics of your stall so we can see.

Rainmac - I love your calendar - your idea of using magnets is brilliant - let me know if you track some down. Lovely ccc challenge card, I love the colours, and that image is so cute! Fab altered container too - the muffin image looks great.

I got my beer mats from here if anyone's interested:

Seeing the site I think that maybe where I got my coasters from too, maybe they did a free p&p offer or something, I know there was a bargain somewhere? I have ordered these little circular magnets, thought I could stick two on the back?

Myz- think its in the special occasions bit and its for unfinished objects relating to cross stitch - and I think you get encouraged to finish them - only had a quick look though its the 9th one up from the bottom.

Her birthday is in ovember and the wording says 60th Birthday Celebration

I haven't shown it to her yet as I am thinking I might have to make a more simple design.

    What do you guys think?

Cool! Hehe got all excited earlier as my friend works in a pub... thought she could get beer mats....but she can't.... if I'm up to it I'll suggest a pub meal on Sunday maybe..... ;) ... then again there would probably only be us in there...pretty obvious if I went about half-inching mats!

...maybe I'll buy 'new' ones hehe

    I like it :)

... if it were a child I'd put a photo of their head in the centre of the flower... but I think that may be a little much for your purposes

    :rotfl:

btw if you want to look at it in larger state then take off the last 2 bits of the URl it doubles in size :)here

I definitely don't like overcomplicated cards.... on some of the designers blogs everything all seems so 'busy' in the cards to me and it makes my head hurt. Then again I do get a lot of headaches.... I am old.... hehe..but that's why I loved Polly's card... loads on it to get the attention but not *too* busy

....bet that doesn't make sense does it? lol

Myzdamena - I think you could also use those small bits as hands for a clock face, sorry if it's already been suggested
