I haven't bought from twopeasinabucket but have bought from the us before i got some rubber stamps delivered from us ebay they cost me about 75 quid and i got stung by customs it wasn't much about 3 or 4 quid but what really stung was the collection fee by royal mail .That was about 10 or 12 quid it was about 3 years ago though.
I just got a card through the door from royal mail which said they had collected a parcel and paid the customs fee and if i called and paid the fee they would deliver it to me the next day.
Jamtart - I have never ordered from them, but I ordered from an American craft store once, spent about 35 quid and wasn't charged any custom charges, I don't know if its just luck - but I've ordered so much stuff from abroad and I've never been charged.

Thanks for these replies, our Postie is lovely he might know about the RM charges - customs doesn't sound soo bad if you get stung! The postage is £8 so I'd have to be making a fairly large order (ha! like that'll be hard) they just have the most lovely stuff on there. Are there any UK shops/online that can rival this sort of selection of goodies?

Well it seems to be calculated on distance rather than price or weight. I put $300 worth of stuff my my basket and $3 worth of stuff and the postage was $13 in each case. Hasten to add I didn't buy it - just experimenting, honest.:o

No elves in my house :D

mumhug - sorry to hear about your fil, thinking of you x

rusty - I looked after my 9month old niece (at the time, she's 1 on Sunday ) and I only had her for a night and day and I was ready to give in and she wasn't even being that naughty lol!

jamtart - I haven't looked at that site yet, I don't know if I dare!! (Shame you haven't got any elves either, shall I send you some of mine?!)

Marg - The next challenge sounds great, I haven't done my own cards yet, but if I don't get round to it I'll have a good excuse! Can you please send me the address to send them to? I'll send one to you for the challenge but would like to send some more so I'll save you the postage! (If that's ok!)

I also hate the dentist. I find definitely deep breathing helps to relax you and close your eyes so you can't see them being so close to you - thats the bit I hate ! You won't feel a thing. Good luck X

I've got a few pages to catch up on but first of all, mumhug, that a beautiful card and a really thoughtful card you've made for mil.

Also, I've had an email from Sizzix, the pink Big Shot die cut machine will be on the 7 o'clock show on QVC tonight, you can use all your dies in one of these beautys. My grandaughters inherited my Big Shot when I bought the Wizard but I gave them all my dies as well. Blast! I could do with some of them right now. :o Looks like it's gonna be good on the telly tonight
