Hi girlies, I cannot keep up with this thread properly so do excuse me for just bobbing in and out.

Does anyone know where I can get these

    ksc_6734%281%29.jpg

they are 6 x 6 card boxes for invitations. I would like them ready made if possible.

They are available but they are 99p each which is doubling the cost of each invite (but they are massive and don't fit in envelopes due to embellishments :/)

Any ideas where I'd get them ready assembled? I tried PDA crafts/cards but they are flat packed.

    All ideas welcome thank you

sorry jammy haven't got a clue except perhaps ebay but I'd love to know when you find some.

Create and Craft TV had some boxes already folded but I think they were A5

How about an enquiry on UKscrappers?

I would be mortified if I had to have the 1000 tea bags! I had a real craving for it when pregnant and now I can't stand it, I must of drunk so much my body rejects it haha!

I'm blog hopping and trying to make a card while watching the craft day on QVC and entertain my clingy DD, I need cake to keep me going!

Blinkin' Nora but it's cold here. Am trying to sort out Choccy's stash but my hands are that cold they won't work  and heating's on full tilt :eek:.

Hope all is well with everyone,
    Thriftyxxx

Oooh - fab makes on everyone's blogs by the way - I think I've caught up with my comments but apologies if I missed you out. Hugs to all.

    Hi Jammy,

I know you said boxes but you also said they don't fit in envelopes due to the embellishments? What about expandable envelopes? I have seen these in various places but I am sure you could get some to fit 6x6, might be the cheaper option maybe? sorry I can't help with the boxes?

JHB - I have just made my mothers day card for the challenge, also entered it into the other 3 challenges (thanks Rainmac) Now just another 3 to make!!

Flourgirl - thankyou for the email, I did reply last night! :j

Hugs to anyone who wants or needs them! Will catch up with blogs this evening, I am going to get as much crafting done as I can whilst DD is playing nicely and not being clingy!!

P.S my teabags arrived from twining!! :j they sent 40 instead of 30!

  • Sorry in advance for the huge post ladies!!! Just spent two hours yesterday and a further 30 mins today thank heavens my mindee sleep in the afternoon lol

Thank you everyone for your hugs – they meant a lot to me xx

Hoping all of you (and your loved ones) who are/have been ill are feeling better.

Rainmac – sadly nothing I could sell (wouldn’t get much for hubby and he wouldn’t bring in much – probably have to pay them to taker him lol)

CraftyGranny – glad to hear things are going so well with Alicia and Carly

Popkins – glad you got your pink Cuttlebug eventually I am still longing for a green/pink/any colour one. Maybe by the time I can get one they will have brought out a blue or lilac one then I will defo have to get one

Flourgirl – sending hugs for your sister’s SIL sorry to hear things are not too good for him.

RE the papermill shop a York. Whereabouts is it and is it worth a long drive its about an hour away from here I think

How is WW going – oops read your post – sounds like you are having the same problem as me. Why is it that I manage a stone quite easy and then start to self sabotage myself – been losing and gaining the same pound and a half for about four weeks now. Keep mentioning ginger cake and I may have to come and visit you that is my favourite yum yum

Rusty – presuming you have had lots of answers about tea bags that are individually wrapped. Have you thought about making your own envelopes for them? Would depend on the time you have available I presume. At Christmas made teabag holders from an idea on this thread or the Thrifty Gifty one. Bought teabags but then found they didn’t have own envelopes so made my own ones and the papers matched in with the themes on the front of the holder.

Lyndach – whops with the teabags. Perhaps you could re sell them on Ebay if the seller can’t/won’t help you

    – glad you got it sorted

    Melissa – voted

A big TA! for those PepPop, snagged them all. I was looking at those pictures and the last one we both looked at each other and said "Clare!' It's the spitting image of DD's friend, that's her card sorted!

Wifey did you look at the older posts - many red hats and old sepia scripts etc too

Rusty I've got a brilliant curry book that I use in the house. What kind are you looking for and I can send you the recipe tonight.

I've left comments on everyones blogs (nice ones of course). I've posted OH's birthday card on my blog and I'm in the process of making my Mother's Day cards. I think I'm gonna be going down the sepia road for at least one of these - Wifey your card has definately inspired me.
