Good evening ladies I haven't been on much as I have been busy looking after Willow. I have managed to send my stash swap and make a card for my swapee.

Sorry to hear about all you poorlies, I hope you all feel better soon and get plenty of rest. I will be so glad when the bad weather comes to an end and we can all benefit from some warm sunshine.

I had a bit of upsetting news this morning, my sisters son in law had a heart transplant 5 years ago at the age of 20 and he has taken poorly. He is back in Papworth Hospital for tests and they are hoping its not rejection. My sister and niece have gone to see him today, its early days yet and they need to do more tests before they know exactly whats wrong, we are all just keeping everything crossed and praying everythings ok.

Rusty your scrapbook page is lovely. Now I know what you look like :) I don't know why you dont like your photo taken, you are really pretty. Its a lovely photo of you both and your choice of paper is perfect.:T

Hi ladies, I haven't been around for a couple of days as DD has been for a visit. I've skimmed through the pages -

Mary - how scary, take it easy and hope you're better soon

Dragonllew - ouch for Rhys' finger, poor lad

Choccy - sympathy, toothache is horrible, off to the dentist with you and get it sorted!

Jazabelle - glad you've found the Stampin Up stamps better

The Wife - while you're on a high can you please come and do my ironing, two weeks' worth again and housework to catch up too on now DD has gone

Craftygranny - good news about Carly, hope all goes well for Alicia but sorry about the delay

Jailhousebabe There seems to be a few ways these blog comments work. Sometimes I get the red message that my comment couldn't be published and to try again, second click at the button usually does the trick. Sometimes you think it's OK and you scroll down the page and there's a preview and you have to OK that. Sometimes you have to put a code in before the comment's accepted. Sometimes it needs blog owner's approval and will show up later. I now always scroll down to see if there's a message to say if my comment has been published. I've made a note of the Mother's Day card challenge and will join in when I get myself organised.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out, can't remember any more. I'm off to check blogs now.

Oh forgot to say that 3 is now 1  my DS1 and DIL came for tea and demolished one with 1pint of custard lol then took 1 home with them!!

I'll put the recipe on CP tomorrow, its my own recipe, with pieces of crystalised ginger in. I sold loads on the farmers market. It makes a fab winter warmer pudding.
  • fLOURGIRL I hope everything goes well for him. The waiting game is awful. That cake sounds yummy. I'm diabetic so unsure i should risk any lol.

  • Flourgirl - that's so young to be having problems like that. :( I hope everything works out okay for him x

I've just about given up with trying to comment on blogs now. I'm not getting any error messages, and I've tried lots of different options (comment as Gmail, openID, anonymous, etc.). Whether I try to publish or preview the comment, the page just refreshes and my comments disappear. I think tomorrow I'll look into setting up a new blog in WordPress.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
