Rainmac - hope you get a better nights sleep tonight (me too!!)
Choccy - Tell Trevor that I told him to get off the Xbox cause it causes lag whilst you are trying to blog, and if he doesn't then I will shoot him :rotfl:

Evening all
I've just got in from work, delivering my first lecture to Master's students
I thought I was a bit nervous, but the module leader complimented me on my "clear and confident speaking voice", lol. I had to design a case study as well, talk about nerve-wracking.
We've got the snow coming down thick and fast here - it's the heaviest snowfall we've had so far this winter. Still, until next Thursday the only time I have to leave the house is to walk the dogs, and they love the snow.
Dragonllew - poor Rhys. I can't imagine how much pain he had to be in to pass out.
Mary - I've had vertigo from inner ear infections before, but never passed out. You poor thing, you and OH are having a rough year of it.Hope you feel better soon x
Melissa - thanks for the heads up.
Rusty - love the scrapbook LO.
Right, the challenge is on!! For all newbies, the challenge runs on this thread, so you can either post your picture on here, or let us know that it's on your blog. This challenge will run until Friday 5th March, and will be either a Mother's Day card or a card for a special woman in your life (as perhaps not all of us are lucky to have our mothers still with us). On the weekend following the 5th, I'll randomly pick a name and see if I can find a few little bits and pieces to send as a prize.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Rusty, I liked it:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

Rusty that looks great
Mine always look a bit rubbish and plain.
Has anyone seen any British themed scrapbook papers? My printer is out of ink so I thought I'd be able to find a few sheets with the union jack or something on, but I can't seem to find any anywhere...Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Well Gorgeous George and I have been working hard and I reckon one more day will see the attic room completely stripped of old wall-paper :T:T:T
Do you remember I posted a while back about a diet challenge and the forfeit of a bikini wax for the loser  Well, I was the winner of the champagne after losing 8 1/2 pounds :T - must have been all that stripping :rotfl: Phew - at least no bikini wax for me
I won't be around for this weekend as me and three friends are going for a girl's weekend to Manchester to see Calender Girls(we live in the Isle of Man). Last year we went to the Birdcage. So OAP, Choccy and Padster - I'll get all your swaps in the post to you on Tues or Wed next week.
Take care all, Thriftyxxx0 -
