On a different note, I now have a business account with craftwork cards!! .... did you know for trade I can get card candy for 78p a pack  They must be making profit on it themselves to sell it at that price trace and then the likes of the glitterpot sell it at £1.50 aswell  I have to buy in packs of 8 though but even so it is still cheap, also the sentiments for trade are £1.50!!
Seriously considering setting up a monthly thread on craftyplace to pass the savings on. First order has to be £100 then each order after that has to be £50.

I would be interested in ordering with you as well

How much to save??? Is remortgaging your house an option? ;) No seriously, you could easily go completely mad or just spend a little bit but still have a great time. I will not be spending lots as money is a bit on the tight side as OH has been forced to take a pay cut along with everyone else in his company to keep everyone in a job. Should only be a short-term thing but it's scary and if I came home with bag loads of stash, he would file for divorce. Could you come on the Friday when some of us on here are going? Would love to meet you x

I have £40 saved so far, but probably not going to spend a lot this time as it will cost me £70-£80 in fuel! I already spoke to you about the scary bit, chin up mrs xxx

Rusty, seriously sentiments are £1.50, they charge £3.50 a pack retail I think. I am really hacked off at the price difference  I would be very interested in placing orders with you as I get most of my card blanks from there and card candy and sentiments ;)

Just snipped your post .... I have to admit I am pretty peeved about my order full stop, I kept saying to bunbun that we could have got it a lot cheaper buying in bulk!! have a look at these pics, they are print screens from the trade account prices are plus vat but even so.... and the last bit is copied and pasted cause they don't have the card blanks on their trade pages, only their order form Not sure how many packs that is either but most other things is in multiples of 8!

  • Sorry forgot to ask, the Expedit cabinets from Ikea, the squares which you put things in do they fit 12x12?? I am thinking more the shelves rather than the red boxes which go in there?

I have the trays that i bought for my 12 x 12 papers on mine no problem. i have 5 in a cube and 5 in another cube. I'll see if i can get you a pic later.

lol...if only...we rent :) I know what you mean about on the tight side, everything we earn every month goes straight onto the bills so it would be a case of me trying to get some overtime in at work! Gav took a job 2 years ago with a (so called) friend of mine but for the 6 months he worked for the man he never got paid & the job centre wouldn't let him sign on r help!
I was on maternity leave at the time so could not get any extra hours in, so we're paying off the c.c bills now...anyway thats the past & its a long story of what happened! :o

I think my hubby would file for divorce too if I came home with lots...I'd have to sneak it in! lol :D I work friday evenings :( so it wouldn't work for me & I know I've got no holls left for yr...boooo. I was thinking of going sat or sun?

Sunshine12 I have seen those cupcakes before, aren't they just gorgeous!!

Rusty count me in, have you thought about an order before the NEC. If I am having a lift with you, you know I will contribute to the fuel costs :)

Rainmac I have just spoken to my son and he had to pick Willow up earlier as she was feeling sick. I think she had recovered by 4pm :)

Time to get dinner ready for later. Sausages and Mash. Taste the difference sausages half price yesterday :) yum + onion gravy mmmmm
  • Sunshine - Thanks for sharing your find there amazing :D

rainmac - especially for you I put up the corage & counted up the amount of socks I bought in the sales...just have to say no one in the house will be without socks for a while!!

I counted them & OMG I have 80 pairs!!! It didn't look that many looking at the bag. They were all no more than a £1 a pack or less, some have 5 pairs per pack...I'm not going to add that up that would just scare me more!

So I have a lot of sock creatures to make...something to keep me busy while watching TV & keeps me away from the chocolate :p

Right time for me to be off, have a fun crafting/chatting eveing...I'm off to work in half hour when hubby gets home...joy...I know what I would rather be doing! :rotfl:
