Mel, legs bums and tums, well done you! You put me to shame, I should go but I don't ;-)

Well I had to have a quick go and make one of those very cute baskets, it's on my blog. I was amazed at how quick it was to make and looks as it should do, if you know what I mean x

CT Love the cards on your blog, the butterfly one is gorgeous, I love a bit of sparkle. Jacks party invitations are amazing!
I'm loving the Silhouette machine its so easy once you have your own sizes on file. Did you get the freebie flowery border yesterday? its from the online shop.
    This one

Thanks for the link flourgirl - i could do something with that boarder. Am I being thick, because I can't work out how to download it. It says about going through the online store through the shillouette/robo software and purchase it, but how do I do it, as when I open the software I can't see anything about the online store.

  • WIfey and Ali - hope you feel better soon.

Rainmac, I sent photos last THursday and got my 1st proofs on SUnday. I was able to change the picture slightly (Jamie's hair is now longer than it was in the photo I sent) and also combined to photos to get 1 of the boys! A great service all round.

Thanks for all your good wishes for my friend - she is the strongest person I know and I am looking forward to seeing her new boobs soon! We're banned form visiting her in hospital but there is an extensive entertainment and child care rota prepared for her recovery!
  • Thanks for the welcome back, I knew you girls wouldn't hold my absence against me! :o

I had a lovely surprise in the post today - DD has finally got a job, starting next Monday. :j:j So she treated me to some Forever Friend stamps from the sale at the glitterpot. Isn't she sweet? Should be just the kick up the bum I need to start crafting again. :)
The next step is to figure out the glitches with my blog login so I can update it and leave comments on other blogs!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

CT when you open a new page on the silhouette, down the side under "My Library" there is one that says Online Shop, I just click on that and it comes up with the shop homepage. In one section it says FREE DOWNLOAD click on that and it opens up the image then click cart as if you are buying then checkout, sign in with password and it should automatically download into "My Library" I have already had a couple of freebies, I think there is one every week.
Have a look at this post and tell me if your screen looks like that. Can you see the purchase online at the bottom on the left?

Congratulations to your daughter JHB on getting a job.

Looking forward to seeing all your creations.

What are you up to on the job front - still lecturing?

Thank you. :) Yes, I'm still lecturing, but only 4 hours a week! I'm still looking for full-time work. The shop idea fell through when my friend discovered she was pregnant - she decided to stay in her current job and get all the benefits associated with it. ;)
