At the moment there is a lot of Freya lingerie in the sales - check out debenhams or something. They sell them in Bravissimo as well, but there are some in clearance in dept. stores - or check ebay. The comfiest one I own is Freya, and they are all very pretty too! From about £10.
Also, you can usually get some Janet Reger bras in clearance in Debenhams - good for both pretty and larger sizes. From £6.0 -
I've never bought a bra at Bravissimo as they seem SOOOOO expensive, but I know people who swear by them. Different strokes for different folks I suppose!
I really don't get all the people saying Brav are expensive - the bras I get from there are in the £20 - £25 price range - which seeing as a) I used to have to pay £60+ to get bras that fitted and didn't make my breasts just look wrong (aka as an M&S bra) and b)they're my boobs - I wear them everyday, they hurt if the bra isn't *good* and I don't want them round my ankles at 40. They last for ages as well I find, so worth the money (work it out as £20.00 divided by the average number of days and nights I wear it - at least 9 months = 270 days/nights = 7 1/2 p per wear - not very costly at all for good boobs until I'm an OAP!Do not feed the trolls please.0 -
Actually I'll agree with you there PixiePie. They are reasonably priced for *good* bras, and cheaper bras have always proved to be a false economy for me. Even ordering online has often been a false economy, as if it's not quite right but it almost fits I tend not to bothered enough to send it back. That meant I had loads of almost fitting bras.
I was very happy with Leia, and can recommend them, although I now always use Bravissimo - as I always have a look at their clothes which fit beautifully. I don't mind paying the little extra they charge for investment pieces like coats ( I love dmy red mac last year), but for dresses and tops and things I only buy them in the sales. But I do love them then.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
by the way, I've just been online for the Leia sale, it's amazing!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

I agree with you about Bravissimo Pixie. Maybe depends a bit on perspective tho - I don't know what size you are, but there are very few companies that actually do bras in sizes like a 30gg etc - so even if I don't actually buy in Bravissimo, it will tend to be bras from companies like Freya which are rarely super cheap (you get the odd one in sales but if you do it's normally a cause for celebration!!) so their prices seem fine to me as well.
I think the person who commented on brav was a 36e, which whilst bigger than the average, is a much more 'normal' size as far as most retailers are concerned, and is well within the range of sizes produced by cheaper shops - if you can get a bra for under £10 fairly easily then £30-ish for a Freya would seem expensive. Whilst Brav caters for these sizes, it's not really their target audience I don't think.0 -

Ah, didn't think of it that way, soz - thought we was only talking about difficult boobies lol (34G here - not too weird I know, but a problem size enough that 'normal' places don't seem to be able to pattern a bra that doesn't make me look horribly deformed lol)Do not feed the trolls please.0
