HELP!!!!!
Ok....
Im moving into a Housing Association Property
They are currently with British Gas, and are on pre payment meters.
I have searched the comparison sites to find the best supplier, problem is they all ask what my consumption is!!!
Obviously i dont know the answer to that?
I currently dont pay Utility bills but will be when i take on the tenancy.
I want the best deal.... But how do i do this?
Also pre-payment meters or Bills?
HELP!!!!!

check with british gas that the property is up to date!
i moved into a council flat a few years back and put £20 on the meter to find that over £15 of it had gone on 'debt' which was where the previous tenants had not paid their bills and had a forced pre payment meter put in, and i had to have southern electric out to get my meter reset and the money i paid credited on the meter.
I would suggest direct debit payments, unless you're on a very low income or not very good with money or (like me) you could get a bank charges problem!
good luck in your new home

Thanks Delain,
I will ensure which ever company i go with knows the meter readings on arrival at the property, and that it is a new account.
I think ill do the DD payments, i think someone told me that there was a standing charge on pre-payment meters??
But my problem is knowing which is going to be the best supplier!
ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH so frustrating! :mad:0
