Sounds like your service provider's DNS servers are on the blink. What happens if you type 207.46.19.254 into the browser's address bar?

    Try This
Go to Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall. From there, select to Change Settings and turn it off

Hmm... open up a command prompt (StartAll ProgramsAccessories) and type the following:
    ipconfig /flushdns

Is your ip address being set manually or automatically
Control Panel > Network & Sharing Center > Manage Network Connections > Right click on the active one > Properties > Click On Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) > Properties > And write back to which Radio Button Is Selected
    > Obtain Ip Addresses Automatically
    > Use The Following Ip Address

  • The answer is (more than likely) that you will need to reset your URL Monitor. The URL, which stands for "Universal Resource Locator" -- or more affectionately known as a "web link", is monitored by the Operating System (Windows).
If the "URL Monitor mechanism" is broken, then the resulting link will not open properly.
    To resolve the issue:
Click Start -> Run, then type in the following commands and press 'Enter' after each one:
    • Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
    • Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
    • Regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
This will reset your URL monitor.
