Thnak you, getting there, excuse the expression but the antibitoics are shidting the flem...
Another football match at the school - sods law-
Just trying to be organised and list some stuff on ebay, if it doesn't sell this time (free listing weekend - always think everybosy gets the wardrobes etc emptyied out) its in their system can have another go.
Miss madam has just had to have her hair done, school news letter - another outbreak of "visitors" - sods laws she's one of them.
Shouldn't laugh - dad was going to Tesco - said get some of the pharmacy - don't worry just tell them and there get the lotion.... he rings home - the woman on the pharmacy wished me a good weekend, and hope we all had a good time, that was nice of her she told me to try the freezer aisle or the fridges should get a nice selection from there - I'm thinking ok, I know he goes to Tesco twice a week, and knows the cashiers, but pharmacy????? asked him what he asked for - he replied- "told her my grandaughter had note from school and the wife says she has the visitors need to get some stuff, wondering why she sent me down here - all I can see is food" - told him to go back and tell her its nits - but we call them visitors - he was too embarrased - called at Asdas instead on the way home....xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Still quiet here, good news getting rid of this bug, so haven't really been doing much the last week.
Another £100 off the debt balance today, just Sept is so tight, thou mostly organised for xmas bar small things for parents, managed to get them a camera from Argos, reduced from £160 to £60, thats their main present, then put £20 up each off dd, and I spend about £20 each on them
DD having a bike, so mum and dad going halves (helps a lot) and she gets something she needs. Sure there be a list for Father Christmas.
Figured Oct tight again, Nov be ok, but plan to make it to the near knuckle, and Dec - don't think were go there. But still plan to achieve as much off debts as I can.
Just hoping theres a carboot soon at the school, I'm already having my own table at the xmas fayre, so that help.
DD bless her shes got the cold bug now, then last ngt came running in sobbing her heart out, she'd fallen off her bike, thank god it looked worst than what it was, thought she'd cut from her nose to her chin, but big chunk of dirt. She must of gone face forward, just so glad she had her cycle helmet on.
She bit her lip, and got a graze on her chin, but bless her she got her boke out 2ngt without being asked - last night she was refusing to ever cycle again.
Xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Aw mum2one hope your little one is feeling better after her fall. You too for that matter. It never rains but it pours...
You are so organised with your budgets aren't you? I need to get a firm grip on mine!
Can you believe shops already have advent calendars and mince pies in...I'm still waiting for the Indian Summer we were promised yet again! Hopefully it might be a warm Autumn.
Well done for being up to date with the Christmas stuff. I'm definately going to write some sort of a list, at least I'll feel I've made a start lol
Take care

Bit of an update.....
had a brilliant couple of days away, thou as its me does anything ever go to plan!!
DD needed her eyes testing - so we tied it in with going away, so we could get sorted, the opticians were running 1hr late, bless her she is a chip off the old block, she needed new glasses, she got 12 pairs off the shelves ready to try on, just for reading off black boards etc, she chooses a designer pair.... admittadly they were the nicest, but I did say to her let the gentleman tell you whats best fit.... luckly she got a NHS voucher, so only paid £30.
Clear journey to Rhyl, straight to the site, we went and found it in the summer, went to check in, - disaster!!
Them - You've got linen hired
Me - Yes, 1 double, 2 singles
Them - don't know its in your caravan, but come back any probs, that needs to be paid for
Me (Pulling out invoice - knew pd £20 for linen hire),
Them - yes you've paid for your linen, but we need a £25 depoist, to make sure the linen doesn't get stolen......
Me - Not happy but the best to come
Them - Oh you've got a dog....
me - yes, he's in the car, yes we have paid for him - its on the invoice
Them - You need to pay a security depoist for the caravan - thats another £50
after a few choice words, refused to pay, as I said they had plently of opportunity - booked it, called in and when rang to pay the remainder, they refused to hand over the linen, so I said they could have a £10 depoist - they agreed, but said they'd do a full inspection when we left....
We got the van, everything we asked for, parking close by, sensible steps - with a handle (like a miltary planned operation for us if we haven't been anywhere, one site wouldn't let us have the disabled caravan as we had the dog, he wasn't a guide dog - we didn't want a disabled caravan), we had a narrow path to walk up, that was so uneven, broken concrete, no rail, and 3 vans away from the parking. We got into the van- it was dirty, we found p... hairs over the bed and the quilt, stuff hanging off the walls, moved the TV to plug it in, there was pencil sharpenings behind it, long black hairs on the dining rm table, and Bailey nearly chocked on a alarm connection that was under the bed. none of the doors shut properly - hinges missing, no lights working in 2 bedrms, Rang and complained - thought were not getting charged for that - they came round Sat and checked it and fitted some of the faults, dad took us
Me, mum and dd to the theatre - we'd booked dreamboats and petticoats, it was absolutely amazing, the energy they had was unbelievable, loved it. It made the weekend, treated dd to an indian for her tea, takeaway treat. When we got back to the van, most of the stuff was fixed and a bottle of wine as a goodwill gesture.
when we returned the sheets back, there was a message a further goodwill gesture, 10% off future bookings......... me don't think so.
Weather changed Sunday, we nipped to a couple of shops, our fav cafe for dinner, so funny the one lady from there came up and said I'm really sorry we've got no steak pie! (dd loves it), had a little wonder round Rhyl.
It was nice to get a break, and the show was amazing, just back to reality. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
My brainwave moment - figured as have money roughly planned to Xmas, and OU all sorted as to what I need to do and dates all in new diary, thought I'd do a to do list - for this week and next.
Sort out DDs party - told to allocate 2 hrs for party - only put 1 1/2hrs on invite - done - in dds bag
Do Sept and Oct Presents = quick look at list - all wrapped just any "extra parties"
(got some wrapped - but dd has 2 invites so far - raid my supply) - got them ready to wrap - half done
Move 2 boxes of halfcost from dining room (did check them) - done - all tidyish in shed
2 boxes prezzies - go to shed - done
Resumit housing application (thou waste of time) done
Update posting - done
wrap 4 ebay parcels - made a grand total of £18 (sold 4 out of 14 listed) - done , 2 paid so there go 2mor - add that to 3 paid and posted off.. 4 paid, 4 posted
Order necklace for bday (not till next yr - but seen spaniel one want) done - but not sure if its right one as the code I got from catalogue - but they said if wrong can send it back - what a farce, the necklace came, but its the wrong one, not the one advertised in Danbury Mint - they expect me to pay postage to go back, more annoying as phoned up to order it.
FIND (there somewhere safe), madams party bags etc - done, dusted, and knackered
Email-
3 tutors for OU - end of course assesments etc - done all 3
Contact OU - forms for end of course assisgnment - one course post, one course send online
Find madams bday list - getting ds game and wii game - she's done a list - price check, Amazon / asda / tesco /play.com - couldn't find the list..... but have ordered her 2 games knew she wanted, best deal was last week the one game was £30 but got Art academy and Cooking Mama 3, both for £35 - won't arrive in time - bonus prezzie
Think that keep me going.........
Was doing so well with my list and tidying up dining room, ended up in favourite place A+E, had an asthma attack, that I couldn't get to control, so more antibiotocs and now got to wait for out patients for chest x-ray.
gave dad £25 borrowed off him, so added it back to repayment total, (only) coz its pushed me over the next £500 mark, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Not much here, physio appointment was a laugh, as knee still playing up, she wants to go to the gym at the hospital, with particular attention to the rowing machine and the exercise bike.... me on a rowing machine - can't even tie my laces..... not to worry there get down but there not sure how best to get me up, they have to look after theur equipment .... simple don't put me on it!!
Quietish day, just catching up with end of course work for OU, got blood test 2mor, now on 12 hr fast..... to see what sugar level is.... be fun.
Then its play hunt the party items.... there safe, but where exactly safe is another question.
DD has her new glassses 2day, she was so plzed as there really funky, pink and black stripes on side. Took her to the chip shop for tea, very mse as we had refund of car parking and travel to the hospital for physio and thought we both deserved a little treat. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Getting there slowly as they say - good news the lurgy bug clearing up, now mum who sounds like a chimney bless her.
Just paid off £151 off debts 2ngt, - got to be really strict - away nxt week with friend, feel so weird shareing my space, be ok......
Seems quite wierd haven't booked the Orient Express this yr, missed the deadline for the discount, and been lucky enough to been twice, maybe next yr...
This month just seems to of flyed past so quick, got dd's bday party Sunday, 10 children wearing PJS at bowling centre - could be fun!! Dragging dad along, he can have one lane- I'll have the other, We have even had to do a goodbag for the teacher........xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
