I'm trying to email a scanned document and it keeps failing. I think it may be too big. It is a A4 sized black and white document.
Any ideas?

How big? If too big you can use things like You Send It. http://www.yousendit.com/0

Scan it at a lower resolution, make sure you actually scanned it as black and white and not colour. If it's just pure text then scan it in "1 bit colour" rather than "greyscale", save it as something like JPEG rather than PDF (if you went with 1 bit colour then use GIF or PNG). Email was never really designed for sending files so it's common for ISPs to put size restrictions in place.
Failing that, something like yousendit will be fine.0 -
are you sending it as an attachment as i scan documents in and they work fine0
