What Train Station for Trafford Park Manchester M41

I have to go to a business meeting in Trafford Park, Umston, Manchester. Whats the nearest train station as there seems to be 2 train stations - Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Piccadily. Can someone tell me what train station I need and also how far it is from trafford park to allow time for my taxi journey from station to venue. Many thanks.

If you're really planning to take a taxi from one of those stations, then Oxford Road is closer.

Having said that, if travelling on the rail line from Piccadilly to Oxford Road is an option, then why not continue a couple of stops on to Trafford Park station? It'll take you right there.

If you post the rest of the M41 postcode, I can advise you further. Also, from which direction are you taking the train? There is the metrolink too which normally runs from Piccadilly to Trafford Bar and Trafford (closer to Stretford) although the line is closed for works during August. I live in Urmston. Trains to and from Liverpool go through Oxford Road to Piccadilly.

Trafford Park is not in Urmston. Trafford Park is in Trafford Park. You can use Trafford Park station, or Manchester Utd station.

A Taxi around Trafford Park, to get anywhere, won't take more than 10 minutes.
