There's no such thing as Outlook Express 7. Are you referring to Outlook 2007 or Windows Live Mail?0

i mean Outlook 2007
isnt that just an upgrade from OE 6?
IM NOT VERY TECHIE0 -
Outlook Express installs alongside Outlook 2007, so you just use the importer facility. You may need to move up to Windows Live Mail (free from Windows Live site) from Outlook Express to use the importer, but all should work fine

On some ISP's you need to set your SMTP as your ISP's despite your e-mail domain elsewhere. This is sometimes mail.btinternet.com, but try the suggestion from espresso first

Yes misread the post, the SMTP should be set to:
mail.btinternet.com:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
You will also need to follow the instructions on this page, substituting step 7 for the following:the SMTP should be set to:
mail.btinternet.comEnsure that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is not selected, insert your BT e-mail address and password into the relevant boxes and click OK.0 -
