WOULD NOT have lost it if i had the hardship claim sorted, i could of paid my landlord and that would have been ok. If i had been given the payment i could have still been in my old place. Because of Lloyds and their massive delays and screwing around my landlord got tired of waiting and i said ok i will leave.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -

Did you explain to them about your rent and the amount?
We might try something else0 -

Yes it came out of my benefits they did not ask me, i remember going to get £70 for all my debts and there was £62 in it, i could not believe what had happened. i went into the bank and explained i can not afford that money out of my benefits she kept saying "we are legally entitled to charge you" and other stuff.
What do you suggest i do then?Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -

I would suggest that perhaps you might approach it as a treating customers fairly issue. That means that the bank failed you because whilst they are allowed to charge you they should have at least allowed you to take enough money, even if that meant that the account was overdrawn, to allow you to pay your rent.
I think perhaps you could in hindsight complain about the fact that the bank staff didn't have a solution acceptable. What I mean is that while they may not necessarily have given you all the benefit they could have at least have allowed you to withdraw funds from the benefit to allow you to live on.
To clarify, do you still owe the landlord money for arrears?0 -

I understand what you mean yes, i might try that. I did owe the landlord £160 but he has not contacted me so i am guessing he has left it - i do owe him still just not made arrangements to pay it.
Thanks for that info it was helpful.Owed out = lots. :cool:0
