Leaking Triton Shower!

Hi there, hope someone can advise on this?? We have a Triton Ivory II shower which is about 2-3 of years' old. THe unit has started to leak at the bottom - thought it was the Pressure Relief Device at first, but (after turning the electric off!) have taken off the front and it seems to be coming from the stabilising valve (possibly where it connects with the 'can'. Is this something we could sort ourselves (with fairly basic diy skills)? - If not , is it worth getting someone in to repair, or should we replace? THanks!

If you call Triton they will be able to supply a new valve by mail order. I seem to remember they are quite easy to change...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Triton showers are short lived, install a mira if possible.0

Thanks for that - have looked at triton website and the part would be £30 - but it looks as if it might be a bit complicated to install, as it connects with other parts within the shower box - not just a case of taking out/replacing (shame it's not the pressure relief device/valve!). Will see if I can find out what I'd need to do before buying...0 -
