Nissan Scrappage

I would appreciate some advice. I am looking at the Nissan company scrappage scheme. It is unclear to me whether, unlike the Government scheme, vehicles must have vaid MOT and road tax at the time of ordering to utilise this; Nissan's terms and conditions are not clear and I cannot find contact details to ask.
All help gratefully received; also, has anyone had experience of using this scheme, if so how did it work? Ta in advance
