I think people tend to use them as extra email accounts when applying for freebies and entering comps etc, its better than having your usual email account filled with junk and spam, well thats what i use them for anyway, maybe others use them for far more interesting reasons :rolleyes:

In answer to the question how come I have so many Gmail invites...well I accepted invites sent to me by friends because i thought they'd come in useful as throwaway email addysfor the "survey" and competition websites. I stopped accepting when it got to 12..and now I find that each account has 50 invites.....:eek:
