Travel insurance query

Hi all,

Just a simple one I hope.

I'm looking to book round the world ticket this weekend leaving in January but haven't sorted out insurance for the trip yet. Just need to find out whether the insurance we buy eventually will cover the flights even though we will buy the policy afterwards?

We still need to shop around for the insurance so there's little chance of getting it sorted before then, but could get something as a stop gap if absolutely necessary.

Thanks

The Travel Insurance will cover you from the date you actually take the cover out in respect of cancellation cover.
