Hi i have a grand scenic and when you turn the steering wheel you hear what can only be described as a boing type noise like a large spring twanging any ideas anyone?:confused:

    It will be the top mount on the suspension. Very common on Megan's and Sceneics. Easy fix and nowt to worry about.

    I've done hundreds.

    many thanks harvey was a bit worried as only picked the car up on sat so thankfully its covered on the insurance we got with it and the garage have said no charge

    If you bought it from a dealer, ask them to replace the top mount - check which side it is first.
