homebuyers report

hi all,
we in the closing stages of our purchase, we were trying to complete quickly but were held up by the survey. it took almost two weeks for us to get our hands on it. When my OH called them he was told is was done and typed just needed signing off, still we waited days. Got it emailed so nothing to do with mail

I was wondering how long you had to wait for yours (homebuyers report, done alonside the valuation) Did we wait a long time? I am considering writing to the lender and surveyers to complain.

thanks for any advice.
we have love enough to light the streets.

I have a full structural survey booked for Monday, surveyor has promised to phone me on Tuesday to give me main feedback and post the report by Friday.

4 working days between survey taking place and us receiving the report, with a phonecall on the day of the survery to relay the salient points.
  • Thanks for the replies,
Does sound as though we have cause for complaint
