Tee hee I went to Tesco this morning and got the bill for £33 for the week.
Delia Smith's Corned beef hash is LOVELY and very cheap.
Also we are having sausage casserole and Pasta bake as well as Chinese chicken raman soup made with left overs from yesterdays Roast chicken.
Good luck!0 -
Good luck. May I ask how many is that for and is it for the 3 meals a day?0

What sort of meals do you have planned for £35? That's the sort of total I had in mind for this weeks shop for 2 of us so looking for inspiration...

Corned beef hash! Yummy delia recipe.
Pasta bake - think its the homepride one - with a bit of veg in - lasts over two nights
Lasagne - lasts over two nights.
Jacket Potato with Chicken in white wine sauce (tined from tesco)
The above are our money savers!0 -
Those are actually quite similar meals to ours- except corn beef hash. yeeuuukk!

We do make stuff that makes 4 portions (therefore two nights) but we then tend to freeze it and have it the following week so we're not eating the same thing twice in a week- but I guess we might have to do that if I want to be really stringent!

Chilli's
Tuna Pasta Bakes
Loads of Pasta Dishes
Curries
Spag Bol
However we do grow alot of Fruit and Veg ourselves - so we dont need to buy Potatoes, Salad stuff, Onions, Garlics Etc - we just take it straight out the garden. We also make our own bread.O/S Debt: PL £[STRIKE]15207.34[/STRIKE] £9884.55; HSBC £4060.99; Tesco£1430.15; M&S £5990.17; Virgin [STRIKE]£5158.69[/STRIKE] £4210.14; Egg £4619.00; O/S = ££30,292.42 AIM - To Be Debt Free 56 months0 -
