Shower cubicle replacement

The shower cubicle in our en-suite is on its last legs and we can't find the latest source of leaks so it's time to get it replaced. It stands in the corner, 2 tiled walls behind (75cm x height of cubicle), all of which will need removing and replacing. It's currently got an electric shower but the quote is to replace this with a mixer. The sink needs new taps too. We're in North London.
To supply & fit the following:
Shower Mixer
Shower Tray
All tiles + tiling & grouting
Any bonding and making good
All plumbing to shower
All silicone around the shower
Shower screen
New taps supplied & fitted to sink
Total of supply & fit £1400
We were a little surprised at how the quote is but we've never had anything like this done before so have nothing to base it on. We'll be getting another quote but the guy that's been recommended is on holiday just now.
Thoughts?

Good afternoon: Has the make of shower mixer/enclosure/tray, basin taps and type of tiles been specified in the quotation as there can be a world of difference in quality/warranty and performance. Example...we replaced the MIL's bath with a shower enclosure (1000mm x 1000mm quadrant Twyford Hydr8), an Aqualisa Quartz mixer, white tiles with Original Style glass borders plus sundries... the materials cost just over £1200.... quality costs.;)

Nothing has been specified. We've asked for like for like and as it's nothing special at the moment, it's going to be bottom end, basic stuff.0 -

Hi..in that case, it makes it difficult to give an informed opinion on cost
Good luck with your project.
