I guess I'll have to get the new car out of the garage then.0 -

This is not helped by the obvious fact we will over populate the plant in a few years and consume all resource eventually. This is simple sales and they do it to keep oil high. The end goal of such corruption goes beyond governments and is basically down to a few who started the monitery system back in the days. It's a little like slavery but without the whip, you have to work to live and that keeps you in line and the oil companies are gate keepers jumping on the back of this paradox. A little deep, I know.. I recommend zeitgust the short film to all.

Take that away and the long-term sustainable global population is 2,000,000,000.
The really issue is not about leaving phone-chargers plugged in, it's who/how/when 4,500,000,000 people die.
Should imagine the whole 6.5 bil will die at some point'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Any more mad theories please do let me.
ITs not a dr evil invade all the oil rich countries scheme per se, its more along the lines of ensuring security in the regions in which we rely upon our energy supply.
Fair enough really.0 -

We'll get all our power from water. Plenty of that knocking about, just need ESSO and chums to release the tech.
Obviously not going to happen until they rinse us dry on petrol prices.0
