Hi,
Hope someone can help........
I have borrowed a laptop and it is now not connecting to internet or doing anything else for that matter.
The message that keeps appearing is WLAN card has encountered a problem and needs to close???
I cont use the computer at all now and have to hand it back soon, I really dont know what to do, i dont have a good track record with computers!

Is it the WLAN Card utility that is closing? Usually a driver update from your manufacturers website cures the problem (and updates the software if needed). Try that - let us know on here if you need any help with it!0

It says its the wlan card wireless network controller. The pc doesnt even have all the icons fully loaded and cant get inloine either on it??
Do you think if i was to plug straight into the router i would be able to??
any advise greatly appreciated.0 -

I imagine plugging it in will work, go into Control Panel >> Network connections and see if LAN Connection lights up when you plug in.
If it does you should be on the net and can download the drivers.0 -
