Hi,
My parents are going away to france in their motorhome, and would like to be able to check email, watch bbc iplayer, tvcatchup etc through my proxy. I don't think the sites they are on have wifi access. Does anyone have much knowledge of 3g services in france? They have an unlocked 3g dongle so really just need a prepaid sim card, something the equivilent of tmobile web n walk for £0.50 a day.

Just don't let them use a UK contract dongle on a roaming basis. Using iPlayer etc is going to result in a £1000+ bill on their return. No free lunch, and no free laptop

SFR do a dongle and 1gb start pack for EUR39
Alternatively Orange do a 500mb sim pack for around EUR10 if you have an unlocked dongle

That's what I thought, but thought I'd mention, it because of so many horror stories on these boards of people doing a little light dongling while abroad and regretting it when they got the bill.No free lunch, and no free laptop
