Hi,
I'm trying to copy onto new blank dics (have tried both CD's & DVD's) but which ever program I use (i tunes, windows media player etc) I always get the same reponse ..... "please insert a blank disc" or something similar.
The disc drive is an LG Super Multi RW with DVD recorder for both DVD's & CD's and came built into my Advent T9317.
The PC Spec is Windows XP SP3 Intel core 2 (windows media center edition)
I run regular checks via all the recommended a/v, antispy, antimalware programs and I don't think it's virus related as all seems clean ?
This also happens on my laptop so at the moment I'm unable to copy anything to disc.
Is there something I need to check or a setting I need to change as the properties for the drive seem to indicate that it is working properly ?
Thanks,
Jac.

Try different brand of CD/DVD. Lens can be wiped carefully with dampened cotton bud, open for access.0
