Yes, us newbies need guidance sometimes. Be gentle! I can't get my head round how to find threads which might be of interest to me. I've tries the search facility and FAQs. I think this site could be clearer, I'm sure I'm missing out on loads of useful info.

I totally agreed, us newbies always get picked on!! That is why I sometime couldn't be bothered posting a new post!! I think some of the OLD members are very RUDE, all we get from them is  instead of thank you..., like some of the members on the above post mentioned, this site is meant to be helping each other & not   , etc

Personally I dont mind an offer being posted more than once, as you cant be on here all the time so some offers that might have been useful to you might have been missed. I dont think anyone who posts something when theyre trying to be helpful should get moaned at, after all they dont have to share their savings with others.

These posts are totally off topic and I think this thread should locked to prevent it descending further into a pointless cat fight.

If everyone has such strong views, I suggest you take it onto the Vent board and thrash it out there.

Point taken about going off the thread. I'd love to look at the "vent board" but  I can't find it!!
