Blaupunkt car stereo

Just purchased car with a blaupunkt los angeles MP72 car stereo.However the brightness settings are so low I can't read the display and wish to change it. I have the manual and know what to do but I can't read the display to see which softkey is assigned to display, day or night? Can anybody help,it's getting very frustrating!

Try at night after 10pm. Might read it better then.0

No that wasn't any use either.I tried to alter the settings last night when it was dark and still couldn't read anything on the menu display!0

You will have to find someone with a similar model then. Is it an LED or LCD display. LCD can fade out or failed backlight.0

From what I read in the manual the proceedure is the same no matter what. If it has been wired to use the night/day function the only difference seems to be that to adjust daytime display have your headlights OFF and to adjust night time have them ON but the button presses are the same.0
